1 W hen Jesus had finished all this teaching, He said to His followers,

2 “ You know that the special religious supper to remember how the Jews left Egypt is in two days. The Son of Man will be handed over to be nailed to a cross.”

Знаете, че след два дни ще бъде Пасхата, Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден на разпятие.

3 T he religious leaders and the leaders of the people gathered at the house of the head religious leader. His name was Caiaphas.

Тогава главните свещеници и народните старейшини се събраха в двора на първосвещеника, който се наричаше Каиафа,

4 T hey talked together how they might trap Jesus and kill Him.

и наговаряха се да уловят Исуса с хитрост и да Го умъртвят;

5 B ut they said, “This must not happen on the day of the special supper. The people would be against it. They would make much trouble.” Mary of Bethany Puts Special Perfume on Jesus

но думаха: Да не е на празника, за да не стане вълнение между народа.

6 J esus was in the town of Bethany in the house of Simon. Simon had a very bad skin disease.

А когато Исус беше във Витания, в къщата на прокажения Симон,

7 A woman came with a jar of perfume. She had given much money for this. As Jesus ate, she poured the perfume on His head.

приближи се до Него една жена, която имаше алвастрен съд с много скъпо миро, което изливаше на главата Му, като бе седнал на трапезата.

8 W hen the followers saw it, they were angry. They said, “Why was this wasted?

А учениците, като видяха това, възнегодуваха, казвайки: Защо се прахоса това?

9 T his perfume could have been sold for much money and given to poor people.”

Защото това миро можеше да се продаде за голяма сума, която да се раздаде на сиромасите.

10 J esus knew what they were saying. He said to them, “Why are you giving this woman trouble? She has done a good thing to Me.

Но Исус като позна това, рече им: Защо досаждате на жената? понеже тя извърши добро дело на Мене.

11 Y ou will have poor people with you all the time. But you will not have Me with you all the time.

Защото сиромасите всякога се намират между вас, но Аз не всякога се намирам.

12 S he put this perfume on My body to make it ready for the grave.

Защото тя, като изля това миро върху тялото Ми стори го за да Ме приготви за погребение.

13 F or sure, I tell you, wherever this Good News is preached in all the world, this woman will be remembered for what she has done.” Judas Hands Jesus Over to Be Killed

Истина ви казвам: Гдето и да се проповядва това благовестие по целия свят, ще се разказва за неин спомен и това, което тя стори.

14 J udas Iscariot was one of the twelve followers. He went to the religious leaders of the Jews.

Тогава един от дванадесетте, наречен Юда Искариотски отиде при първосвещениците и рече:

15 H e said, “What will you pay me if I hand Jesus over to you?” They promised to pay him thirty pieces of silver.

Какво обичате да ми дадете и аз ще ви Го предам? И те му претеглиха тридесет сребърника.

16 F rom that time on Judas looked for a way to hand Jesus over to them. Getting Ready for the Special Supper

И от тогава той търсеше удобен случай да им Го предаде.

17 O n the first day of the supper of bread without yeast the followers came to Jesus. They said, “What place do You want us to make ready for You to eat the supper of the special religious gathering to remember how the Jews left Egypt?”

А в първия ден на празника на безквасните хлябове учениците отидоха при Исуса и рекоха: Где искаш да Ти приготвим, за да ядеш пасхата?

18 H e said, “Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is near. I will eat the special supper at your house with My followers.”’”

Той каза: Идете в града при еди кого си и речете му: Учителят казва: Времето Ми е близо, у тебе ще празнувам пасхата с учениците Си.

19 T he followers did as Jesus told them. They made things ready for this special supper. The Last Special Supper

И учениците сториха както им заръча Исус, и приготвиха пасхата.

20 W hen evening came, Jesus sat with the twelve followers.

И когато се свечери, Той седна на трапезата с дванадесетте ученика.

21 A s they were eating, Jesus said, “For sure, I tell you, one of you will hand Me over.”

И като ядяха, рече: Истина ви казвам, че един от вас ще Ме предаде.

22 T hey were very sad. They said to Him one after the other, “Lord, is it I?”

А те, пренаскърбени, почнаха всички един по един да Му казват: Да не съм аз Господи?

23 H e said, “The one who will hand Me over is the one who has just put his hand with Mine in the dish.

Той в отговор рече: Който натопи ръката си заедно с Мене в блюдото, той ще Ме предаде.

24 T he Son of Man is going away as it is written of Him. It is bad for that man who hands the Son of Man over! It would have been better if he had not been born!”

Човешкият Син отива, както е писано за Него; но горко на този човек, чрез когото Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден! Добре щеше да бъде за този човек, ако не бе се родил.

25 J udas was the one who was handing Jesus over. He said, “Teacher, am I the one?” Jesus said to him, “You have said it.” The First Lord’s Supper

И Юда, който Го предаде, в отговор рече: Да не съм аз, Учителю? Исус му каза: Ти рече.

26 A s they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread. He gave thanks and broke it in pieces. He gave it to His followers and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.”

И когато ядяха, Исус взе хляб, благослови, и го разчупи и като го даваше на учениците, рече: Вземете яжте; това е Моето тяло.

27 T hen He took the cup and gave thanks. He gave it to them and said, “You must all drink from it.

Взе и чашата, и, като благодари, даде им, и рече: Пийте от нея всички!

28 T his is My blood of the New Way of Worship which is given for many. It is given so the sins of many can be forgiven.

Защото това е Моята кръв на завет, която се пролива за прощаване на греховете.

29 I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine again until that day when I will drink it new with you in the holy nation of My Father.”

Но казвам ви, че отсега няма вече да пия от тоя плод на лозата, до оня ден, когато ще го пия д вас нов в царството на Отца Си.

30 A fter they sang a song they went out to the Mount of Olives. Jesus Tells How Peter Will Lie about Him

И като изпяха химн, излязоха на Елеонския хълм.

31 J esus said to them, “All of you will be ashamed of Me and leave Me tonight. For it is written, ‘I will kill the shepherd and the sheep of the flock will be spread everywhere.’

Тогава Исус им казва: Вие всички ще се съблазните в Мене тая нощ, защото е писано: “Ще поразя пастиря; и овците на стадото ще се разпръснат”.

32 A fter I am raised from the dead, I will go before you to the country of Galilee.”

А след като бъда възкресен ще ви изпреваря в Галилея.

33 P eter said to Jesus, “Even if all men give up and turn away because of You, I will never.”

А Петър в отговор Му рече: Ако и всички да се съблазнят в Тебе, аз никога няма да се съблазня.

34 J esus said to him, “For sure, I tell you, before a rooster crows this night, you will say three times you do not know Me.”

Исус Му рече: Истина ти казвам, че тая нощ, преди да пее петелът, три пъти ще се отречеш от Мене.

35 P eter said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never say I do not know You.” And all the followers said the same thing. Jesus Prays in Gethsemane

Петър му казва: Ако станеше нужда и да умра с Тебе, пак няма да се отрека от Тебе. Същото рекоха и всичките ученици.

36 J esus came with them to a place called Gethsemane. He said to them, “You sit here while I go over there to pray.”

Тогава Исус идва с тях на едно място наречено Гетсимания; и казва на учениците Си: Седете тука, докле отида там да се помоля.

37 H e took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with Him. He began to have much sorrow and a heavy heart.

И като взе със Себе Си Петра и двамата Заведееви сина, захвана да скърби и да тъгува.

38 T hen He said to them, “My soul is very sad. My soul is so full of sorrow I am ready to die. You stay here and watch with Me.”

Тогава им казва: Душата Ми е прескръбна до смърт; постойте тук и бдете заедно с Мене.

39 H e went on a little farther and got down with His face on the ground. He prayed, “My Father, if it can be done, take away what is before Me. Even so, not what I want but what You want.”

И като пристъпи малко напред, падна на лицето Си, и се молеше, казвайки: Отче Мой, ако е възможно, нека Ме отмине тази чаша; не обаче, както Аз искам, но както Ти искаш.

40 T hen He came to the followers and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Were you not able to watch with Me one hour?

Дохожда при учениците, намира ги заспали, и казва на Петра: Как! не можахте ли ни един час да бдите с Мене?

41 W atch and pray so that you will not be tempted. Man’s spirit is willing, but the body does not have the power to do it.”

Бдете и молете се, за да не паднете в изкушение. Духът е бодър, а тялото

42 H e went away again the second time. He prayed, saying, “My Father, if this must happen to Me, may whatever You want be done.”

Пак отиде втори път и се моли, думайки: Отче Мой, ако не е възможно да Ме отмине това, без да го пия, нека бъде Твоята воля.

43 H e came and found them asleep again. Their eyes were heavy.

И като дойде пак намери ги заспали; защото очите им бяха натегнали.

44 H e went away from them the third time and prayed the same prayer.

И пак ги остави и отиде да се помоли трети път, като каза пак същите думи.

45 T hen He came to His followers and asked them, “Are you still sleeping and getting your rest? As I speak, the time has come when the Son of Man will be handed over to sinners.

Тогава дохожда при учениците и казва им: Още ли спите и почивате? Ето, часът наближи, когато Човешкият Син се предава в ръцете на грешници.

46 G et up and let us go. See! The man who will hand Me over is near.” Jesus Handed Over to Sinners

Станете да вървим; ето, приближи се тоя, който Ме предава.

47 J udas, one of the twelve followers, came while Jesus was talking. He came with many others who had swords and sticks. They came from the religious leaders of the Jews and the leaders of the people.

И когато Той говореше, ето, Юда един от дванадесетте, дойде, и с него голямо множество, с ножове и сопи, изпратени от главните свещеници и народните старейшини.

48 T he man who handed Jesus over gave the men something to look for. He said, “The One I kiss is the One you want. Take Him!”

А оня, който Го предаваше, беше им дал знак, казвайки: Когото целуна, Той е; хванете Го.

49 A t once Judas went up to Jesus and said, “Hello, Teacher,” and kissed Him.

И веднага се приближи до Исуса и рече: Здравей, Учителю! и го целува.

50 J esus said to him, “Friend, do what you came to do.” Then they came and put their hands on Jesus and took Him.

А Исус му каза: Приятелю, за каквото си дошъл стори го. Тогава пристъпиха, туриха ръце на Исуса, и Го хванаха.

51 O ne of those with Jesus took his sword. He hit the servant who was owned by the religious leader and cut off his ear.

И, ето, един от тия, които бяха с Исуса, простря ръка, измъкна ножа си, и, като удари слугата на първосвещеника, отсече му ухото.

52 J esus said to him, “Put your sword back where it belongs. Everyone who uses a sword will die with a sword.

Тогава Исус му каза: Повърни ножа си на мястото му, защото всички, които се залавят за нож от нож ще загинат.

53 D o you not think that I can pray to My Father? At once He would send Me more than 70, 000 angels.

Или мислиш, че не мога да се помоля на Отца Си, и Той би Ми изпратил още сега повече от дванадесет легиона ангели?

54 I f I did, how could it happen as the Holy Writings said it would happen? It must be this way.”

Но как биха се сбъднали писанията, че това трябва така да бъде?

55 T hen Jesus said to the many people, “Have you come with swords and sticks to take Me as if I were a robber? I have been with you every day teaching in the house of God. You never put your hands on Me then.

В същия час рече Исус на народа: Като срещу разбойник ли сте излезли с ножове и сопи да Ме уловите? Всеки ден седях и поучавах в храма и не Ме хванахте.

56 B ut this has happened as the early preachers said in the Holy Writings it would happen.” Then all the followers left Him and ran away. Jesus Stands in Front of the Religious Leaders

Но всичко това стана за да се сбъднат пророческите писания. Тогава всички ученици Го оставиха и се разбягаха.

57 T hose who had taken Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas. He was the head religious leader. The teachers of the Law and the other leaders were gathered there.

А тия, които бяха хванали Исуса, заведоха Го у първосвещеника Каиафа, гдето бяха събрани книжниците и старейшините.

58 B ut Peter followed Him a long way behind while going to the house of the head religious leader. Then he went in and sat with the helpers to see what would happen.

А Петър вървеше подире Му издалеч до двора на първосвещеника; и като влезе вътре, седна със служителите да види края.

59 T he religious leaders and the other leaders and all the court were looking for false things to say against Jesus. They wanted some reason to kill Him.

А главните свещеници и целият синедрион търсеха лъжливо свидетелство против Исуса, за да Го умъртвят;

60 T hey found none, but many came and told false things about Him. At last two came to the front.

обаче не намериха, при все че дойдоха много лъжесвидетели. Но сетне дойдоха двама и рекоха:

61 T hey said, “This Man said, ‘I am able to destroy the house of God and build it up again in three days.’”

Тоя каза: Мога да разруша Божия храм, и за три дни пак да го съградя.

62 T hen the head religious leader stood up. He said to Jesus, “Have You nothing to say? What about the things these men are saying against You?”

Тогава първосвещеникът стана и Му рече: Нищо ли не отговаряш? Какво свидетелствуват тия против Тебе?

63 J esus said nothing. Then the head religious leader said to Him, “In the name of the living God, I tell You to say the truth. Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.”

Но Исус мълчеше. Първосвещеникът му каза: Заклевам Те в живия Бог да ни кажеш: Ти ли Си Христос Божият Син?

64 J esus said to him, “What you said is true. I say to you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated on the right hand of the All-powerful God. You will see Him coming on the clouds of the sky.”

Исус му каза: Ти рече. Но казвам ви, от сега нататък ще видите Човешкия Син седящ отдясно на силата и идещ на небесните облаци.

65 T hen the head religious leader tore his clothes apart. He said, “He has spoken as if He were God! Do we need other people to speak against Him yet? You have heard Him speak as if He were God!

Тогава първосвещеникът раздра дрехите си и каза: Той богохулствува! Каква нужда имаме вече от свидетели? Ето сега чухме богохулството. Вие какво мислите?

66 W hat do you think?” They said, “He is guilty of death!”

А те в отговор рекоха: Изложи се на смъртно наказание.

67 T hen they spit on His face. They hit Him with their hands. Others beat Him.

Тогава Го заплюваха в лицето и Го блъскаха; а други Му удряха плесници и Му казваха:

68 T hey said, “Tell us, Christ, You Who can tell what is going to happen, who hit You?” Peter Said He Did Not Know Jesus

Познай ни, Христе, кой Те удари.

69 P eter sat outside in the yard. A young servant-girl came to him. She said, “You were also with Jesus Who is from the country of Galilee!”

А Петър седеше вън на двора; и една слугиня дойде при него и му каза: И ти беше с Исуса галилеянина.

70 B ut Peter lied in front of all of them, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about.”

А той се отрече пред всички, казвайки: Не разбирам що говориш.

71 A fter he had gone out, another young servant-girl saw him. She said to those standing around, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”

И когато излезе в предверието, видя го друга слугиня, и каза на тия, които бяха там: И тоя беше с Исуса Назарянина.

72 A gain he lied and swore, “I do not know this Man!”

И Петър пак се отрече с клетва: Не познавам човека.

73 A fter a little while some of the people standing around came up to Peter and said, “For sure, you are one of them. You talk like they do.”

След малко се приближиха и ония, които стояха наблизо, и рекоха на Петра: Наистина и ти си от тях, защото твоят говор те издава.

74 T hen he began to say bad words and swear. He said, “I do not know the Man!” At once a rooster crowed.

Тогава той започна да проклина и да се кълне: Не познавам човека. И на часа петелът изпя.

75 P eter remembered the words Jesus had said to him, “Before a rooster crows, you will say three times you do not know Me.” Peter went outside and cried with loud cries.

И спомни си Петър думата на Исуса, Който беше рекъл: Преди да изпее петелът, три пъти ще се отречеш от Мене. И той излезе вън и плака горко.
