1 M y dear children, I am writing this to you so you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, there is One Who will go between him and the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the One Who is right with God.

Дечица мои, това ви пиша, за да не съгрешите; но ако съгреши някой, имаме ходатай Или утешител Вж. Йоан 14: 16> при Отца, Исуса Христа праведния.

2 H e paid for our sins with His own blood. He did not pay for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.

Ако знаете, че Той е праведен, знайте, че и всеки, който върши правда, е от Него роден.

3 W e can be sure that we know Him if we obey His teaching.

И по това сме уверени, че Го познаваме, ако пазим заповедите Му

4 A nyone who says, “I know Him,” but does not obey His teaching is a liar. There is no truth in him.

Който казва: Познавам Го, а заповедите Му не пази, лъжец е, и истината не е в него.

5 B ut whoever obeys His Word has the love of God made perfect in him. This is the way to know if you belong to Christ.

Но ако някой пази словото Му, неговата любов към Бога е наистина съвършена. По това знаем, че сме в Него.

6 T he one who says he belongs to Christ should live the same kind of life Christ lived.

Който казва, че пребъдва в Него, сам е длъжен да ходи, както е ходил Христос.

7 D ear friends, I am not writing a new Law for you to obey. It is an old Law you have had from the beginning. The old Law is the Word that you have heard.

Възлюбени, не е нова заповедта, която ви пиша, но е стара заповед, която сте имали отначало; старата заповед е словото, което сте чули.

8 A nd yet it is a new Law that I am writing to you. It is truth. It was seen in Christ and it is seen in you also. The darkness is passing away and the true Light shines instead.

Но пак е нова заповедта, която ви пиша, което нещо е истинско и в Него и във вас; защото тъмнината преминава, и истинската светлина вече свети.

9 W hoever says he is in the light but hates his brother is still in darkness.

Който казва, че е в светлината, а мрази брата си, той и до сега е в тъмнината.

10 B ut whoever loves his brother is in the light. And there will be no reason to sin because of him.

Който люби брата си, той пребъдва в светлината; и в него няма съблазън.

11 W hoever hates his brother is not in the light but lives in darkness. He does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes. Do Not Love the World

А който мрази брата си той и в тъмнината ходи, и не знае къде отива, защото тъмнината е заслепила очите му.

12 I am writing to you, my children, for your sins have been forgiven because of Christ’s name.

Пиша вам, дечица, защото ви се простиха греховете заради Неговото име.

13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him Who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have power over the devil. I have written to you, young boys and girls, because you have learned to know the Father.

Пиша вам, бащи, защото познавате Този, Който е отначало. Писах вам, младежи, защото сте силни, и Божието слово пребъдва във вас, и победихте лукавия. Писах вам,дечица, защото познавате Отца.

14 I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him Who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong. You have kept God’s Word in your hearts. You have power over the devil.

Писах вам, бащи, защото познавате Този, Който е отначало. Писах вам, младежи, защото сте силни, и Божието слово пребъдва във вас; и победихте лукавия.

15 D o not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him.

Не любете света, нито каквото е на света. Ако люби някой света, в него няма любов към Отца.

16 F or everything that is in the world does not come from the Father. The desires of our flesh and the things our eyes see and want and the pride of this life come from the world.

Защото всичко ще е в света, похотта на плътта, пожеланието на очите, и тщеславието на живота, не е от Отца, но е от света;

17 T he world and all its desires will pass away. But the man who obeys God and does what He wants done will live forever.

и светът преминава, и неговите похоти; а който върши Божията воля, пребъдва до века.

18 M y children, we are near the end of the world. You have heard that the false-christ is coming. Many false-christs have already come. This is how we know the end of the world is near.

Дечица, последно време е; защото както сте чули, че иде Антихрист, и понеже сега има много антихристи, от това знаем, че е последно време.

19 T hese left us. But they never belonged to us. If they had been a part of us, they would have stayed with us. Because they left, it is known they did not belong to us.

От нас излязоха, но не бяха от нас; защото ако бяха били от нас, щяха да си останат с нас, но излязоха, за да стане явно, че те всички не са от нас.

20 T he Holy Spirit has been given to you and you all know the truth.

А вие сте помазани от Светия и знаете всичко.

21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth. I have written because you do know the truth and you know that no lie comes from the truth.

Пиша ви, не защото не знаете истината, но защото я знаете и разбирате, че никаква лъжа не е от истината.

22 W ho is a liar? He is a person who says that Jesus is not the Christ. The false-christ will have nothing to do with the Father and the Son and he will turn away from Them.

Кой е лъжец, освен оня, който отрича, че Исус е Христос? той е антихрист, който се отрича от Отца и от Сина.

23 A person who will have nothing to do with the Son and turns against Him does not have the Father. The one who says he knows the Son has the Father also.

Никой, който се отрича от Сина, няма нито Отца; а който изповядва Сина, има и Отца.

24 K eep in your heart what you have heard from the beginning. Then you will belong to the Son and to the Father if what you have heard from the beginning is in you.

А колкото за вас, онова, което сте чули отначало, нека остане у вас. Ако остане у вас това, което сте чули отначало, то и вие ще пребъдете в Сина и Отца.

25 A nd He has promised us life that lasts forever!

И обещанието, което Той ни даде е това - вечен живот.

26 I have written to you about those who are trying to lead you in the wrong way.

Пиша ви това поради тия, които желаят да ви заблудят;

27 C hrist gave you the Holy Spirit and He lives in you. You do not need anyone to teach you. The Holy Spirit is able to teach you all things. What He teaches you is truth and not a lie. Live by the help of Christ as the Holy Spirit has taught you.

а колкото за вас, помазанието, което приехте от Него, остава във вас, и нямате нужда да ви учи някой; затова, както Неговото помазание ви учи за всичко, и е истинско, а не лъжливо, пребъдвайте в Него, както ви е научило да правите.

28 A nd now, my children, live by the help of Him. Then when He comes again, we will be glad to see Him and not be ashamed.

Дечица, и сега пребъдвайте в Него, та когато се яви, да имате дръзновение, и да се не посрамим пред Него в пришествието Му.

29 Y ou know that Christ is right with God. Then you should know that everyone who is right with God is a child of His.

Ако знаете, че Той е праведен, знайте, че и всеки, който върши правда, е от Него роден.
