8 D o something to let me see that you have turned from your sins. Do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you, God can make children for Abraham out of these stones.

10 T he people asked him, “Then what should we do?”
Or le folle lo interrogavano, dicendo: «Che faremo noi dunque?».
11 H e answered them, “If you have two coats, give one to him who has none. If you have food, you must share some.”

20 T o all these, Herod added another sin by putting John in prison. The Baptism of Jesus
aggiunse a tutte le altre anche questa, cioè di rinchiudere Giovanni in prigione.
21 W hen all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized also. As He prayed, the heaven opened.
Ora, come tutto il popolo era battezzato, anche Gesú fu battezzato, e mentre stava pregando, il cielo si aprí
