1 Î nceputul Evangheliei lui Isus Cristos, (Fiul lui Dumnezeu).

The Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

2 A şa cum este scris în Isaia, profetul: „Iată, îl trimit înaintea feţei Tale pe solul Meu, care-Ţi va pregăti calea!“

begins with the words of the early preachers: “Listen! I will send My helper to carry the news ahead of you. He will make the way ready.

3 „ Un glas strigă în pustie: «Pregătiţi calea Domnului, neteziţi-I cărările!»“

His voice calls out in the desert, ‘Make the way ready for the Lord. Make the road straight for Him!’”

4 I oan Botezătorul a venit în pustie şi a început să predice botezul pocăinţei spre iertarea păcatelor.

John the Baptist preached in the desert. He preached that people should be baptized because they were sorry for their sins and had turned from them. And they would be forgiven.

5 T oţi cei din ţinutul Iudeii şi toţi locuitorii Ierusalimului au început să vină la el şi, mărturisindu-şi păcatele, erau botezaţi de el în râul Iordan.

People from over all the country of Judea and from Jerusalem came to him. They told of their sins and were baptized by John in the Jordan River.

6 I oan avea îmbrăcămintea din păr de cămilă, iar în jurul mijlocului avea un brâu de piele. El se hrănea cu lăcuste şi cu miere sălbatică.

John wore clothes made of hair from camels. He had a leather belt around him. His food was locusts and wild honey.

7 I oan vestea şi zicea: „După mine vine Cel Ce este mai puternic decât mine, Căruia eu nu sunt vrednic să mă aplec să-I dezleg cureaua sandalelor!

He preached, saying, “One is coming after me Who is greater than I. I am not good enough to get down and help Him take off His shoes.

8 E u v-am botezat cu apă, dar El vă va boteza cu Duhul Sfânt.“ Botezul şi ispitirea lui Isus

I have baptized you with water. But He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” The Baptism of Jesus

9 Î n acele zile a venit Isus din Nazaretul Galileii şi a fost botezat de către Ioan în Iordan.

Jesus came to the Jordan River from the town of Nazareth in the country of Galilee. He was baptized by John.

10 I mediat după ce a ieşit din apă, El a văzut cerurile deschise şi pe Duhul coborând peste El ca un porumbel.

As soon as Jesus came up out of the water, He saw heaven open up. The Holy Spirit came down on Him like a dove.

11 Ş i din ceruri s-a auzit un glas care zicea: „Tu eşti Fiul Meu preaiubit; în Tine Îmi găsesc plăcerea!“

A voice came from heaven and said, “You are My much-loved Son. I am very happy with You.” Jesus Was Tempted

12 I mediat Duhul L-a dus în pustie.

At once the Holy Spirit sent Jesus to a desert.

13 E l a stat în pustie timp de patruzeci de zile, fiind ispitit de Satan. Acolo stătea împreună cu animalele sălbatice, iar îngerii Îi slujeau. Primii ucenici

He was tempted by Satan for forty days there. He was with wild animals but angels took care of Him. Jesus Preaches in Galilee

14 D upă ce Ioan a fost închis, Isus a venit în Galileea, predicând Evanghelia lui Dumnezeu.

After John the Baptist was put in prison, Jesus came to the country of Galilee. He preached the Good News of God.

15 E l zicea: „S-a împlinit vremea! Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este aproape! Pocăiţi-vă şi credeţi în Evanghelie!“

He said, “The time has come. The holy nation of God is near. Be sorry for your sins, turn from them, and believe the Good News.” Jesus Calls Simon and Andrew

16 Î n timp ce trecea pe lângă Marea Galileii, Isus l-a văzut pe Simon şi pe Andrei, fratele lui Simon, care tocmai aruncau năvoadele în mare, căci erau pescari.

Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee. He saw Simon and his brother Andrew putting a net into the sea. They were fishermen.

17 I sus le-a zis: „Veniţi după Mine şi vă voi face pescari de oameni!“

Jesus said to them, “Follow Me. I will make you fish for men!”

18 E i şi-au lăsat imediat năvoadele şi L-au urmat.

At once they left their nets and followed Him. Jesus Calls James and John

19 M ergând puţin mai încolo, l-a văzut pe Iacov, fiul lui Zebedei, şi pe Ioan, fratele lui. Ei erau într-o barcă şi îşi reparau năvoadele.

Jesus went on a little farther. He saw James and his brother John who were sons of Zebedee. They were in a boat mending their nets.

20 I mediat El i-a chemat, iar ei l-au lăsat pe tatăl lor, Zebedei, în barcă, împreună cu cei angajaţi şi L-au urmat. Isus vindecă un demoniac în Capernaum

Jesus called them and they left their father Zebedee. He was in the boat with men who were working for him. Jesus Heals a Man with a Demon

21 S -au dus în Capernaum şi, în Sabatul imediat următor, El a intrat în sinagogă şi a început să dea învăţătură.

Jesus and His followers went to the city of Capernaum on the Day of Rest. They went to the Jewish place of worship where Jesus taught the people.

22 O amenii erau uimiţi de învăţătura Lui, căci El îi învăţa ca Unul Care are autoritate, nu cum îi învăţau cărturarii.

The people were surprised and wondered about His teaching. He taught them as One Who had the right and the power to teach and not as the teachers of the Law.

23 C hiar atunci în sinagoga lor era un om stăpânit de un duh necurat.

There was a man in the Jewish place of worship who had a demon. The demon cried out,

24 E l a strigat: – Ce avem noi de-a face cu Tine, Isuse din Nazaret? Ai venit să ne distrugi? Ştiu Cine eşti: Sfântul lui Dumnezeu!

“What do You want of us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know Who You are. You are the Holy One of God.”

25 I sus l-a mustrat zicându-i: – Taci şi ieşi afară din el!

Jesus spoke sharp words to the demon and said, “Do not talk! Come out of the man!”

26 D uhul necurat a ieşit din el, scuturându-l şi scoţând un strigăt puternic.

The demon threw the man down and gave a loud cry. Then he came out of him.

27 T oţi au rămas uimiţi, aşa că se întrebau între ei: „Ce înseamnă aceasta? Este o învăţătură nouă, care are autoritate. El porunceşte chiar şi duhurilor necurate, iar ele Îl ascultă!“

The people were all surprised and wondered. They asked each other, “What is this? Is this a new teaching? He speaks with power even to the demons and they obey Him!”

28 Ş i I s-a dus vestea imediat pretutindeni, în toată regiunea din jurul Galileii. Isus vindecă bolnavii

At once the news about Jesus went through all the country around Galilee. Peter’s Mother-In-law Healed

29 I mediat după ce au ieşit din sinagogă, s-au dus împreună cu Iacov şi Ioan în casa lui Simon şi a lui Andrei.

Jesus and His followers came out of the Jewish place of worship. Then they went to the house of Simon and Andrew. James and John went with them.

30 S oacra lui Simon era întinsă pe pat, având febră, şi ei I-au vorbit imediat despre ea.

They told Jesus about Simon’s mother-in-law who was in bed, very sick.

31 E l a venit, a prins-o de mână şi a ridicat-o. Şi febra a lăsat-o, iar ea a început să le slujească.

He went and took her by the hand and raised her up. At once her sickness was gone. She got up and cared for them. Jesus Heals in Galilee

32 S eara, după ce a apus soarele, au adus la El pe toţi bolnavii şi pe cei demoniaci.

In the evening as the sun went down, the people took all who were sick to Jesus. They took those who had demons to Him.

33 Î ntreaga cetate era adunată la uşă.

All the town gathered at the door.

34 E l i-a vindecat pe mulţi care sufereau de diferite boli şi a scos afară mulţi demoni. Pe demoni nu-i lăsa să vorbească, pentru că ei Îl cunoşteau. Isus se roagă într-un loc pustiu

Jesus healed those who were sick of many kinds of diseases. He put out many demons. Jesus would not allow the demons to speak because they knew Who He was. Jesus Keeps On Preaching in Galilee

35 D is-de-dimineaţă, când încă era întuneric, Isus S-a sculat, a ieşit, şi S-a dus într-un loc pustiu. Şi se ruga acolo.

In the morning before the sun was up, Jesus went to a place where He could be alone. He prayed there.

36 D ar Simon şi cei ce erau de obicei cu El au început să-L caute

Simon and the others looked for Jesus.

37 ş i, când L-au găsit, I-au zis: – Toţi Te caută!

They found Him and said, “All the people are looking for You.”

38 I sus le-a răspuns: – Să mergem în altă parte, în satele învecinate, ca să predic şi acolo, căci pentru aceasta am ieşit!

Jesus said to the followers, “Let us go to the towns near here so I can preach there also. That is why I came.”

39 Ş i S-a dus în toată Galileea, predicând în sinagogile lor şi scoţând demoni. Curăţarea unui bolnav de lepră

He went through Galilee. He preached in their places of worship and put out demons. Jesus Heals a Man with a Bad Skin Disease

40 A venit la El un lepros care a îngenuncheat şi L-a rugat spunând: – Dacă vrei, poţi să mă curăţeşti!

A man came to Jesus with a bad skin disease. This man got down on his knees and begged Jesus, saying, “If You want to, You can heal me.”

41 C uprins de milă, Isus a întins mâna, l-a atins şi i-a zis: – Da, vreau. Fii curăţit!

Jesus put His hand on him with loving-pity. He said, “I want to. Be healed.”

42 L epra l-a părăsit imediat şi a fost curăţit.

At once the disease was gone and the man was healed.

43 I sus i-a atras atenţia şi i-a spus să plece imediat,

Jesus spoke strong words to the man before He sent him away.

44 z icându-i totodată: – Vezi să nu spui nimănui nimic, ci du-te, arată-te preotului şi adu pentru curăţirea ta ceea ce a poruncit Moise, drept mărturie pentru ei.

He said to him, “Tell no one about this. Go and let the religious leader of the Jews see you. Give the gifts Moses has told you to give when a man is healed of a disease. Let the leaders know you have been healed.”

45 D ar el a ieşit afară şi a început să vorbească şi să răspândească vestea atât de mult, încât Isus nu mai putea să intre pe faţă în cetate, ci stătea afară, în locuri pustii. Şi oamenii veneau la El de pretutindeni.

But the man went out and talked about it everywhere. After this Jesus could not go to any town if people knew He was there. He had to stay in the desert. People came to Him from everywhere.
