1 D upă toate acestea, m-am uitat şi iată că în cer era o uşă deschisă. Glasul, pe care prima oară îl auzisem vorbindu-mi ca sunetul unei trâmbiţe, mi-a zis: „Urcă-te aici şi-ţi voi arăta ce trebuie să se întâmple după acestea!“

After this, I looked and saw a door standing open in heaven. The first voice I heard was like the loud sound of a horn. It said, “Come up here. I will show you what must happen after these things.”

2 I mediat am fost în Duhul; şi iată că în cer era un tron, iar pe tron şedea Cineva.

At once I was under the Spirit’s power. See! The throne was in heaven, and One was sitting on it.

3 C el Ce şedea pe tron era la înfăţişare asemenea unei pietre de jasp şi de sardiu, iar de jur împrejurul tronului era un curcubeu, asemenea smaraldului la înfăţişare.

The One Who sat there looked as bright as jasper and sardius stones. The colors like those of an emerald stone were all around the throne.

4 D e jur împrejurul tronului erau douăzeci şi patru de tronuri, iar pe aceste tronuri şedeau douăzeci şi patru de bătrâni îmbrăcaţi în haine albe şi având pe cap coroane de aur.

There were twenty-four smaller thrones around the throne. And on these thrones twenty-four leaders were sitting dressed in white clothes. They had crowns of gold on their heads.

5 D in tron ieşeau fulgere, sunete şi tunete. Înaintea tronului ardeau şapte lămpi de foc – care sunt cele şapte duhuri ale lui Dumnezeu –

Lightning and noise and thunder came from the throne. Seven lights of fire were burning before the throne. These were the seven Spirits of God.

6 ş i tot înaintea tronului era ceva ca o mare de sticlă, asemenea cristalului. În mijloc, de jur împrejurul tronului, erau patru fiinţe vii, pline de ochi în faţă şi în spate.

Before the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, shining and clear. Around the throne and on each side there were four living beings that were full of eyes in front and in back.

7 P rima fiinţă vie era asemenea unui leu, a doua fiinţă vie era asemenea unui viţel, a treia fiinţă vie avea faţa ca a unui om, iar a patra fiinţă vie era asemenea unui vultur care zboară.

The first living being was like a lion. The second one was like a young cow. The third one had a face like a man. The fourth one was like a very large bird with its wings spread.

8 F iecare dintre cele patru fiinţe vii avea şase aripi şi era plină de ochi de jur împrejur şi pe dinăuntru. Zi şi noapte ele spuneau fără încetare: „Sfânt, sfânt, sfânt este Domnul, Dumnezeul cel Atotputernic, Care era, Care este şi Care vine!“

Each one of the four living beings had six wings. They had eyes all over them, inside and out. Day and night they never stop saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the All-powerful One. He is the One Who was and Who is and Who is to come.”

9 O ri de câte ori fiinţele vii Îi dădeau slavă, onoare şi mulţumire Celui Ce şedea pe tron, Care este viu în vecii vecilor,

The four living beings speak of His shining-greatness and give honor and thanks to Him Who sits on His throne as King. It is He Who lives forever.

10 c ei douăzeci şi patru de bătrâni cădeau înaintea Celui Ce şedea pe tron, I se închinau Celui Ce este viu în vecii vecilor şi îşi puneau coroanele înaintea tronului, zicând:

The twenty-four leaders get down before Him and worship Him Who lives forever. They lay their crowns before Him and say,

11 „ Tu eşti vrednic, Domnul şi Dumnezeul nostru, să primeşti slava, onoarea şi puterea, pentru că Tu le-ai creat pe toate şi prin voia Ta ele au existat şi au fost create!“

“Our Lord and our God, it is right for You to have the shining-greatness and the honor and the power. You made all things. They were made and have life because You wanted it that way.”
