1 I ată, vine ziua care arde ca un cuptor! Toţi cei aroganţi şi toţi cei ce trăiesc în răutate vor fi o mirişte. Ziua care vine îi va arde, zice Domnul Oştirilor, şi nu le va mai lăsa nici rădăcină, nici ramuri!

4 A duceţi-vă aminte de Legea robului Meu Moise, de hotărârile şi rânduielile pe care i le-am poruncit la Horeb pentru tot Israelul!

5 I ată, vi-l voi trimite pe profetul Ilie înainte să vină ziua cea mare şi înfricoşată a Domnului!

6 E l va întoarce inimile taţilor spre copiii lor şi inimile copiilor spre taţii lor, ca nu cumva, atunci când voi veni, să lovesc ţara cu blestem!“
