1 V eniţi să strigăm de bucurie către Domnul, să strigăm către Stânca mântuirii noastre!

Come, let us sing with joy to the Lord. Let us sing loud with joy to the rock Who saves us.

2 S ă ne înfăţişăm înaintea Lui cu laude şi să strigăm către El prin cântări!

Let us come before Him giving thanks. Let us make a sound of joy to Him with songs.

3 C ăci Domnul este un Dumnezeu mare, este un împărat mare, mai presus de toţi zeii!

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 E l ţine în mână adâncimile pământului, iar înălţimile munţilor sunt ale Lui.

The deep places of the earth are in His hand. And the tops of the mountains belong to Him.

5 A Lui este marea, – El a făcut-o – iar uscatul, mâinile Lui l-au întocmit.

The sea is His, for He made it. And His hands made the dry land.

6 V eniţi să I ne închinăm, să I ne plecăm înainte, să îngenunchem înaintea Domnului, Creatorul nostru!

Come, let us bow down in worship. Let us get down on our knees before the Lord Who made us.

7 C ăci El este Dumnezeul nostru, iar noi suntem poporul păşunii Lui, turma mâinii Sale! „Astăzi dacă auziţi glasul Lui,

For He is our God. And we are the people of His field, and the sheep of His hand. If you hear His voice today,

8 n u vă împietriţi inimile ca la Meriba, ca în ziua de la Masa, în pustie,

do not let your hearts become hard as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert.

9 c ând strămoşii voştri M-au pus la încercare şi M-au ispitit, deşi Îmi văzuseră lucrările!

Your early fathers put Me to the test and tried Me. But they had seen the work I did.

10 T imp de patruzeci de ani am fost scârbit de acea generaţie şi am zis: «Ei sunt un popor care s-a rătăcit în inima lui şi n-au cunoscut căile Mele.»
