1 A l Domnului este pământul cu tot ce este pe el, lumea şi locuitorii ei,

The earth is the Lord’s, and all that is in it, the world, and all who live in it.

2 c ăci El l-a întemeiat pe mări şi l-a întărit pe râuri.

For He has built it upon the seas. He has set it upon the rivers.

3 C ine se va sui pe muntele Domnului ? Cine se va ridica până la locul Lui cel sfânt?

Who may go up the mountain of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place?

4 C el cu mâinile nevinovate şi cu inima curată, care nu-şi dedă sufletul la minciună şi nu jură ca să înşele.

He who has clean hands and a pure heart. He who has not lifted up his soul to what is not true, and has not made false promises.

5 E l va primi binecuvântare de la Domnul şi dreptate de la Dumnezeul mântuirii lui.

He will receive what is good from the Lord, and what is right and good from the God Who saves him.

6 A ceasta este generaţia celor ce-L caută, a celor ce caută faţa Ta, Dumnezeu al lui Iacov! Sela

Such is the family of those who look for Him, who look for Your face, O God of Jacob.

7 P orţi, ridicaţi-vă capetele! Staţi ridicate, intrări veşnice! Să intre Împăratul slavei!

Lift up your heads, O gates. And be lifted up, O doors that last forever. And the King of shining-greatness will come in.

8 C ine este Acest Împărat al slavei? Domnul cel tare şi viteaz, Domnul cel viteaz în luptă!

Who is the King of shining-greatness? The Lord strong and powerful. The Lord powerful in war.

9 P orţi, ridicaţi-vă capetele! Staţi ridicate, intrări veşnice! Să intre Împăratul slavei!

Lift up your heads, O gates. Lift them up, O doors that last forever and the King of shining-greatness will come in.

10 C ine este Acesta, Acest Împărat al slavei? Domnul Oştirilor! El este Împăratul slavei! Sela

Who is the King of shining-greatness? The Lord of All. He is the King of shining-greatness.
