O Lord, You showed favor to Your land. You have returned those of Jacob who were taken away.

You have forgiven the sins of Your people. You have covered all their sin.

3 Ţ i-ai oprit toată furia, ai renunţat la mânia Ta aprinsă!

You have taken away all Your anger. You have turned away from Your burning anger.

4 D umnezeul mântuirii noastre, adu-ne înapoi şi opreşte-Ţi supărarea faţă de noi!

O God Who saves us, give us life again. Make Your anger toward us stop.

5 O are să te fi mâniat Tu pe noi pe vecie? Vei continua Tu să te mânii din generaţie în generaţie?

Will You be angry with us forever? Will You spread out Your anger to families of all times?

6 O are să nu ne înviorezi Tu din nou, ca astfel poporul Tău să se bucure iarăşi de Tine?

Will You not bring us back to life again so that Your people may be happy in You?

7 D oamne, arată-ne iarăşi îndurarea Ta! Dă-ne din nou mântuirea Ta!

Show us Your loving-kindness, O Lord, and save us.

8 E u voi asculta ce vorbeşte Dumnezeu, Domnul, căci El promite pacea poporului Său şi credincioşilor Săi, numai ei să nu se întoarcă la nebunie.

I will listen to what God the Lord will say. For He will speak peace to His people, to those who are right with Him. But do not let them turn again to foolish things.

9 Î ntr-adevăr, mântuirea Lui este aproape de cei ce se tem de El, pentru ca slava să locuiască în ţara noastră.

For sure His saving power is near those who fear Him, so His shining-greatness may live in the land.

10 Î ndurarea şi credincioşia se întâlnesc, iar dreptatea şi pacea se sărută.

Loving-kindness and truth have met together. Peace and what is right and good have kissed each other.

11 A devărul răsare din pământ, iar dreptatea priveşte din ceruri.

Truth comes up from the earth. And what is right and good looks down from heaven.

12 D a, Domnul dă ceea ce este bun, iar pământul nostru îşi dă rodul.

Yes, the Lord will give what is good. And our land will give its fruit.

13 D reptatea merge înaintea Lui şi pregăteşte calea pentru paşii Săi.

What is right and good will go before Him and make a way for His steps.
