1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.

2 F or I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens.”

Я говорю: навсегда основана Твоя милость, верность Твоя утверждена на небесах.

3 “ I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David:

Ты сказал: «С избранным Моим заключил Я завет, с Давидом, Моим слугой. Я дал клятву:

4 ‘ Your seed I will establish forever, And build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah

“Семя твое навеки утвержу, из поколения в поколение упрочу престол Твой”». Пауза

5 A nd the heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.

Небеса прославляют Твои чудеса, Господи, и Твою верность – в собрании святых.

6 F or who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord ? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the Lord ?

Ведь кто на небесах сравнится с Господом? Кто из сынов властителей уподобится Господу?

7 G od is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be held in reverence by all those around Him.

Бог почитаем в великом собрании святых, и грозен для всех окружающих Его.

8 O Lord God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O Lord ? Your faithfulness also surrounds You.

О Господь, Бог Сил, кто сравнится с Тобой в силе Твоей? Ты силен и верность Твоя окружает Тебя.

9 Y ou rule the raging of the sea; When its waves rise, You still them.

Ты владычествуешь над яростью моря; когда волны вздымаются, Ты укрощаешь их.

10 Y ou have broken Rahab in pieces, as one who is slain; You have scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.

Ты поразил Раава и убил его; крепкой рукою Ты рассеял врагов Своих.

11 T he heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them.

Небеса Твои и земля Твоя; Ты основал вселенную и все, что ее наполняет.

12 T he north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name.

Север и юг Ты сотворил; горы Фавор и Хермон радуются Имени Твоему.

13 Y ou have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.

Твоя мышца крепка, длань Твоя могуча, вознесена рука Твоя правая.

14 R ighteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.

Справедливость и правосудие – основание престола Твоего, милость и верность идут пред Твоим лицом.

15 B lessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.

Благословен народ, знающий радостный крик, во свете Твоего лица они будут ходить.

16 I n Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted.

Во Имя Твое они радуются целый день и праведностью Твоей возвышаются,

17 F or You are the glory of their strength, And in Your favor our horn is exalted.

ведь Ты – их слава и мощь, и по Своему благоволению наш рог вознесется.

18 F or our shield belongs to the Lord, And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

От Господа – щит наш, от Святого Израиля – царь наш.

19 T hen You spoke in a vision to Your holy one, And said: “I have given help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

Некогда говорил Ты верным Тебе в видении: «Я оказал помощь воину, вознес избранного из народа.

20 I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him,

Я нашел Давида, Моего слугу, и Моим святым маслом помазал его.

21 W ith whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him.

Рука Моя пребудет с ним и мышца Моя укрепит его.

22 T he enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Враг не одолеет его, и нечестивый не притеснит его.

23 I will beat down his foes before his face, And plague those who hate him.

Сокрушу перед ним всех его врагов и поражу ненавидящих его.

24 “ But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted.

Верность и милость Моя будут с ним, и во Имя Мое возвысится его рог.

25 A lso I will set his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the rivers.

Левую руку его Я положу на море, а правую – на реки.

26 H e shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’

Он будет звать Меня: “Ты – Отец мой, Бог мой и скала моего спасения!”

27 A lso I will make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth.

И Я сделаю его первенцем, превыше всех царей земных.

28 M y mercy I will keep for him forever, And My covenant shall stand firm with him.

Навек сохраню милость Свою к нему, и завет Мой с ним твердым будет.

29 H is seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.

Я продлю семя его навеки, и будет престол его долговечным, как небо.

30 “ If his sons forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,

Если потомки его забудут Мой Закон и не будут следовать Моим постановлениям,

31 I f they break My statutes And do not keep My commandments,

если преступят уставы Мои и не будут хранить Моих повелений,

32 T hen I will punish their transgression with the rod, And their iniquity with stripes.

то накажу их жезлом за их беззакония и ударами за их грехи.

33 N evertheless My lovingkindness I will not utterly take from him, Nor allow My faithfulness to fail.

Милости же Моей не отниму от него и не изменю верности Моей.

34 M y covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.

Своего Завета Я не нарушу и не отменю сказанного устами Моими.

35 O nce I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David:

Однажды Я поклялся Своею святостью, и не солгу Давиду:

36 H is seed shall endure forever, And his throne as the sun before Me;

семя его пребудет навеки, и престол его, как солнце предо Мною,

37 I t shall be established forever like the moon, Even like the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

будет утвержден вовеки, как луна; он – верный свидетель на небесах». Пауза

38 B ut You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.

Но теперь Ты отринул помазанника Твоего, с презрением прогневался на него.

39 Y ou have renounced the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

Ты отменил завет, что заключил со слугой Твоим и поверг на землю венец его.

40 Y ou have broken down all his hedges; You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

Ты разрушил все его ограды, крепости его превратил в развалины.

41 A ll who pass by the way plunder him; He is a reproach to his neighbors.

Крадут у него все проходящие мимо; он стал посмешищем для соседей своих.

42 Y ou have exalted the right hand of his adversaries; You have made all his enemies rejoice.

Ты вознес правую руку его противников, всех его врагов обрадовал.

43 Y ou have also turned back the edge of his sword, And have not sustained him in the battle.

Ты повернул вспять острие его меча и не укрепил его в сражении.

44 Y ou have made his glory cease, And cast his throne down to the ground.

Отнял у него блеск и поверг его престол на землю.

45 T he days of his youth You have shortened; You have covered him with shame. Selah

Ты сократил дни его юности и покрыл его стыдом. Пауза

46 H ow long, Lord ? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire?

Долго ли, Господи, будешь еще скрываться? Долго ли будет пылать Твой гнев, как огонь?

47 R emember how short my time is; For what futility have You created all the children of men?

Вспомни, как коротка моя жизнь! Ужели напрасно Ты сотворил человека?

48 W hat man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave? Selah

Какой человек жил и не видел смерти, избавил ли он душу свою от руки мира мертвых? Пауза

49 L ord, where are Your former lovingkindnesses, Which You swore to David in Your truth?

Где Твоя прежняя милость, Владыка, о которой Ты клялся Давиду верностью Своей?

50 R emember, Lord, the reproach of Your servants— How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples,

Вспомни, Владыка, поношение слуг Твоих от многих народов, которое ношу я в себе,

51 W ith which Your enemies have reproached, O Lord, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

как злословят Твои враги, Господи, как бесславят они следы Твоего помазанника. Заключительное благословение третьей книги
