1 N ow when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples;

Когда они подошли к Виффагии и Вифании – селениям, расположенным у Масличной горы неподалеку от Иерусалима, – Иисус послал вперед двух учеников.

2 a nd He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it.

– Идите в селение, которое перед вами, – сказал Он им, – и сразу же, как только войдете, вы найдете привязанного осленка, на которого еще никто не садился. Отвяжите его и приведите сюда.

3 A nd if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.”

Если вас спросят: «Зачем вы это делаете?», – скажите, что осленок нужен Господу и что Он сразу же вернет его.

4 S o they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it.

Ученики пошли и нашли осленка, привязанного на улице к наружной стороне двери. Они стали его отвязывать,

5 B ut some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?”

и стоявшие там люди спросили: – Что вы делаете? Зачем отвязываете осленка?

6 A nd they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go.

Ученики ответили, как велел Иисус, и люди их отпустили.

7 T hen they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it.

Они привели осленка к Иисусу, набросили на него свои плащи, и Иисус сел на него.

8 A nd many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

Многие начали расстилать свои плащи на дороге, другие расстилали зеленые ветви, срезанные ими в поле.

9 T hen those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the L ord!’

И те, кто шел впереди, и те, кто шел позади, громко кричали: – Осанна! Благословен Тот, Кто приходит во Имя Господа!

10 B lessed is the kingdom of our father David That comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

Благословенно наступающее Царство предка нашего Давида! Осанна в вышине небес!

11 A nd Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve. The Fig Tree Withered

Войдя в Иерусалим, Иисус прошел в храм. Он осмотрел все, но было уже поздно, и Он вместе с двенадцатью отправился в Вифанию. Иисус проклинает бесплодный инжир (Мат. 21: 18-22)

12 N ow the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry.

На следующий день, когда они вышли из Вифании, Иисус почувствовал голод.

13 A nd seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

Увидев вдали покрытый листьями инжир, Он подошел посмотреть, нет ли на нем плодов, но не нашел ничего, кроме листьев. Время же для сбора инжира еще не пришло.

14 I n response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it. Jesus Cleanses the Temple

Тогда Иисус сказал дереву: – Пусть же никто никогда больше не ест твоих плодов! И ученики слышали Его слова. Изгнание торговцев из храма (Мат. 21: 12-16; Лк. 19: 45-47; Ин. 2: 13-16)

15 S o they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.

Когда они пришли в Иерусалим, Иисус вошел в храм и стал выгонять оттуда тех, кто там продавал и покупал. Он опрокинул столы менял и прилавки торговцев голубями

16 A nd He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple.

и не позволял ничего проносить через дворы храма.

17 T hen He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”

– Разве не написано: «Дом Мой будет назван домом молитвы для всех народов»? – учил Он их. – А вы превратили его в разбойничье логово.

18 A nd the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.

Услышав это, первосвященники и учители Закона стали искать способ, как им убить Иисуса. Они боялись Его, потому что весь народ изумлялся Его учению.

19 W hen evening had come, He went out of the city. The Lesson of the Withered Fig Tree

Когда наступил вечер, Иисус с учениками снова покинул город. Имейте веру (Мат. 21: 20-22; 6: 14)

20 N ow in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

На следующее утро, проходя мимо, они увидели, что инжир засох до корней.

21 A nd Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”

Петр вспомнил, что произошло накануне, и сказал: – Рабби! Смотри! Инжир, который Ты проклял, засох!

22 S o Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

Иисус ответил им: – Имейте веру в Бога!

23 F or assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Говорю вам истину: если кто-то скажет этой горе: «Поднимись и бросься в море!», и при этом не будет сомневаться в душе, а будет верить, что произойдет то, что он сказал, то так ему и будет.

24 T herefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Forgiveness and Prayer

Поэтому говорю вам: о чем бы вы ни молились и чего бы ни просили, верьте, что вы уже получили это, – и будет вам.

25 “ And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

И когда вы молитесь, то прощайте всем, на кого вы обижены, чтобы и ваш Небесный Отец простил вам ваши проступки.

26 B ut if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” Jesus’ Authority Questioned

А если вы не будете прощать, то и ваш Небесный Отец не простит вам ваших проступков. Священники спрашивают Иисуса о Его власти (Мат. 21: 23-27; Лк. 20: 1-8)

27 T hen they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him.

Они снова пришли в Иерусалим, и, когда Иисус ходил в храме, к Нему подошли первосвященники, учители Закона и старейшины.

28 A nd they said to Him, “By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority to do these things?”

– Чьей властью Ты это делаешь? – спросили они. – Кто дал Тебе власть делать это?

29 B ut Jesus answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one question; then answer Me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things:

Иисус ответил: – Я задам вам вопрос. Ответьте Мне, и тогда Я вам скажу, чьей властью Я это делаю.

30 T he baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me.”

Иоанн получил право крестить с небес или от людей? Ответьте Мне!

31 A nd they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’

Они стали рассуждать между собой: – Если мы скажем, что с небес, то Он спросит: «Так почему же вы ему не поверили?».

32 B ut if we say, ‘From men’”—they feared the people, for all counted John to have been a prophet indeed.

Сказать: «От людей» – нельзя. Потому что они боялись народа, ведь все считали, что Иоанн был настоящим пророком.

33 S o they answered and said to Jesus, “We do not know.” And Jesus answered and said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

И они ответили: – Мы не знаем. Иисус сказал: – Тогда и Я вам не скажу, чьей властью Я это делаю.
