1 W hen He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.

Когда Иисус спустился с горы, за Ним последовало множество людей.

2 A nd behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

Тут к Нему подошел человек, больной проказой, поклонился Ему и сказал: – Господи, если Ты захочешь, Ты можешь меня очистить.

3 T hen Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Иисус протянул руку и прикоснулся к нему, сказав: – Хочу, очистись! В тот же миг человек исцелился от проказы.

4 A nd Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant

Иисус тогда сказал ему: – Смотри, никому не говори об этом, но пойди, покажись священнику и принеси в жертву дар, как это повелел Моисей. Это будет твоим свидетельством для других. Вера офицера (Лк. 7: 1-10; Лк. 13: 28-29)

5 N ow when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him,

Когда Иисус пришел в Капернаум, к Нему подошел сотник и попросил о помощи.

6 s aying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”

– Господин, – сказал он, – мой слуга лежит дома парализованный и ужасно мучается.

7 A nd Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

Иисус ответил ему: – Хорошо, Я приду и исцелю его.

8 T he centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.

Сотник возразил Иисусу: – Господи, я не достоин, чтобы Ты вошел под крышу моего дома. Скажи только слово, и мой слуга выздоровеет.

9 F or I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it. ”

Ведь и сам я подчиняюсь приказам, и у меня в подчинении тоже есть воины. Я говорю одному: «Иди!», и он идет, другому: «Ко мне!», и тот приходит. Слуге моему говорю: «Сделай это!», и он делает.

10 W hen Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

Иисус, выслушав его, удивился и сказал тем, кто шел за Ним: – Говорю вам истину, что даже в Израиле Я не встречал такой сильной веры!

11 A nd I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

Говорю вам, что многие из других народов придут с востока и запада, займут свои места на пиру с Авраамом, Исааком и Иаковом в Небесном Царстве.

12 B ut the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Сыны же Царства будут выброшены вон, во тьму, где будет плач и скрежет зубов.

13 T hen Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. Peter’s Mother-in-Law Healed

И Иисус сказал сотнику: – Иди! По твоей вере будет тебе. И в тот же час слуга выздоровел. Исцеления больных (Мк. 1: 29-34; Лк. 4: 38-41)

14 N ow when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.

Придя в дом Петра, Иисус увидел, что его теща лежит в горячке.

15 S o He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them. Many Healed in the Evening

Он прикоснулся к ее руке, и жар оставил ее, она встала и начала накрывать для Него на стол.

16 W hen evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

Когда же наступил вечер, к Иисусу привели много людей, одержимых демонами. Он изгнал духов словом и исцелил всех больных.

17 t hat it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “ He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” The Cost of Discipleship

Это было исполнением слов пророка Исаии: «Он взял наши немощи и понес наши болезни». Будущие последователи Иисуса (Лк. 9: 57-60)

18 A nd when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side.

Когда Иисус увидел, что вокруг Него собралась большая толпа, Он велел ученикам переправиться на другую сторону озера.

19 T hen a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”

Тут к Нему подошел один из учителей Закона и сказал: – Учитель, я пойду за Тобой, куда бы Ты ни пошел.

20 A nd Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Иисус ответил: – У лисиц есть норы, и у птиц небесных – гнезда, а Сыну Человеческому негде и голову приклонить.

21 T hen another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

А другой человек, из Его учеников, сказал: – Господи, разреши мне прежде пойти и похоронить отца моего.

22 B ut Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” Wind and Wave Obey Jesus

Но Иисус ответил ему: – Следуй за Мной, пусть мертвые сами хоронят своих мертвецов. Иисус усмиряет шторм (Мк. 4: 36-41; Лк. 8: 22-25)

23 N ow when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.

Иисус вошел в лодку, и ученики сели вместе с Ним.

24 A nd suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.

Внезапно на озере поднялся такой сильный шторм, что лодку захлестывало волнами. А Иисус в это время спал.

25 T hen His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

Ученики разбудили Его, говоря: – Господи, спаси нас! Мы гибнем!

26 B ut He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Иисус ответил: – Маловеры, ну что вы испугались? Он встал, запретил ветру и волнам, и наступил полный штиль.

27 S o the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” Two Demon-Possessed Men Healed

Ученики удивленно спрашивали: – Кто же Он, что даже ветер и волны повинуются Ему? Иисус изгоняет демонов в стадо свиней (Мк. 5: 1-17; Лк. 8: 26-37)

28 W hen He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way.

Когда Иисус прибыл на другую сторону озера, в Гадаринскую землю, навстречу Ему из могильных пещер вышли два человека, одержимых демонами. Они были такие буйные, что никто не решался проходить той дорогой.

29 A nd suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”

– Что Ты от нас хочешь, Сын Божий? – закричали они. – Ты пришел мучить нас еще до назначенного срока?

30 N ow a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding.

Неподалеку от них паслось большое стадо свиней.

31 S o the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.”

Демоны попросили Иисуса: – Если Ты нас выгонишь, то пошли нас в это стадо свиней.

32 A nd He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.

Иисус сказал им: – Идите! Выйдя из людей, демоны вошли в свиней. Все стадо бросилось с обрыва в озеро и погибло в воде.

33 T hen those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.

А свинопасы побежали в город и все рассказали, включая и то, что произошло с одержимыми.

34 A nd behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region.

Тогда все жители города вышли навстречу Иисусу и, увидев Его, попросили покинуть их края.
