1 T hen He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

Созвав вместе двенадцать, Иисус дал им силу и власть одолевать всех демонов и излечивать болезни.

2 H e sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Затем Он послал их возвещать Божье Царство и исцелять больных,

3 A nd He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.

сказав им: – Ничего не берите с собой в дорогу: ни посоха, ни сумки, ни хлеба, ни денег, ни запасной одежды.

4 “ Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart.

В какой бы дом вы ни вошли, оставайтесь там и оттуда отправляйтесь дальше.

5 A nd whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

А если где-то люди вас не примут, то, уходя из того города, отряхните пыль с ваших ног, это будет свидетельством против них.

6 S o they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. Herod Seeks to See Jesus

Ученики отправились в путь и, переходя из селения в селение, возвещали Радостную Весть и повсюду исцеляли больных. Смятение правителя Ирода (Мат. 14: 1-2; Мк. 6: 14-16)

7 N ow Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by Him; and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead,

Слухи обо всем этом дошли и до правителя Ирода. Он был в недоумении, потому что одни говорили, что это Иоанн воскрес из мертвых,

8 a nd by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.

другие – что явился Илия, третьи – что ожил один из древних пророков.

9 H erod said, “John I have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things?” So he sought to see Him. Feeding the Five Thousand

Ирод говорил: – Иоанна я обезглавил, а Кто же тогда Этот Человек, о Котором мне такое рассказывают? И он искал возможность увидеть Иисуса. Иисус насыщает пять тысяч мужчин (Мат. 14: 13-21; Мк. 6: 32-44; Ин. 6: 1-13)

10 A nd the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

Апостолы, возвратившись, рассказали Иисусу обо всем, что они сделали. Потом Он взял их с Собой, и они пошли одни к городу, называемому Вифсаида.

11 B ut when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing.

Однако толпы народа, узнав об этом, пошли за Иисусом. Он радушно их принял и говорил им о Божьем Царстве, а также исцелял тех, кто в этом нуждался.

12 W hen the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.”

День уже клонился к вечеру, и двенадцать подошли к Иисусу и сказали: – Отпусти людей, чтобы они пошли в окрестные поселки и селения и нашли себе ночлег и пищу, ведь мы здесь в пустынном месте.

13 B ut He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”

Иисус ответил: – Вы сами дайте им есть. Ученики удивились: – Да ведь у нас только пять хлебов и две рыбы. Разве что нам пойти и купить еды на всех этих людей?

14 F or there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.”

А там одних только мужчин было около пяти тысяч. Но Иисус сказал ученикам: – Рассадите людей группами, человек по пятьдесят.

15 A nd they did so, and made them all sit down.

Ученики так и сделали. Когда все сели,

16 T hen He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Иисус взял пять хлебов и две рыбы и, подняв глаза к небу, благословил пищу. Затем Он стал разламывать хлеб и рыбу и давать их Своим ученикам, чтобы те раздавали народу.

17 S o they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them. Peter Confesses Jesus as the Christ

Все ели и насытились, и собрали еще двенадцать корзин остатков. Петр признает Иисуса Христом (Мат. 16: 13-16; Мк. 8: 27-29)

18 A nd it happened, as He was alone praying, that His disciples joined Him, and He asked them, saying, “Who do the crowds say that I am?”

Однажды, когда Иисус молился в одиночестве и недалеко от Него были Его ученики, Он спросил их: – За кого принимает Меня народ?

19 S o they answered and said, “John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others say that one of the old prophets has risen again.”

Они ответили: – За Иоанна Крестителя; другие же говорят, что Ты Илия, а третьи – что один из других древних пророков ожил.

20 H e said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God.” Jesus Predicts His Death and Resurrection

– А вы кем считаете Меня? – спросил их Иисус. – Божьим Христом, – ответил Петр. Иисус впервые говорит о Своей смерти и воскресении (Мат. 16: 21-23; Мк. 8: 31-33)

21 A nd He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one,

Но Иисус строго велел им никому не говорить об этом,

22 s aying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.” Take Up the Cross and Follow Him

сказав: – Сыну Человеческому должно много пострадать и быть отвергнутым старейшинами, первосвященниками и учителями Закона. Он должен быть убит, но на третий день воскреснет. Что значит быть последователем Иисуса? (Мат. 16: 24-28; Мк. 8: 34 – 9: 1)

23 T hen He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Потом Иисус сказал им: – Если кто желает быть Моим последователем, пусть отречется от самого себя и, изо дня в день беря свой крест, следует за Мной.

24 F or whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

Потому что тот, кто хочет сберечь свою жизнь, потеряет ее, а кто потеряет свою жизнь ради Меня, тот спасет ее.

25 F or what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?

Ведь что пользы человеку, если он приобретет весь мир, но при этом погубит самого себя или повредит себе?

26 F or whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.

Кто постыдится Меня и Моих слов, того постыдится и Сын Человеческий, когда придет в Своей славе и в славе Отца и святых ангелов.

27 B ut I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.” Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

Говорю вам истину, некоторые из вас, стоящих здесь, не умрут, пока не увидят Божьего Царства. Преображение Иисуса (Мат. 17: 1-13; Мк. 9: 2-13)

28 N ow it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

Примерно восемь дней спустя после этих слов, Иисус, взяв с Собой Петра, Иоанна и Иакова, поднялся на гору помолиться.

29 A s He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.

Во время молитвы Его облик вдруг изменился, а одежда стала ослепительно белой.

30 A nd behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,

И вот появились два человека, которые стали разговаривать с Иисусом, – это были Моисей и Илия.

31 w ho appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

Явившись в славе, они говорили о Его исходе, который Он должен будет совершить в Иерусалиме.

32 B ut Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who stood with Him.

А Петра и тех, кто был вместе с ним, одолел сон, но когда они очнулись, то увидели славу Иисуса и двух мужчин, стоявших рядом с Ним.

33 T hen it happened, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—not knowing what he said.

Когда мужчины уже уходили, Петр сказал Иисусу: – Наставник, нам здесь так хорошо! Давай мы сделаем три шалаша, один Тебе, один Моисею и один Илии. Он и сам не знал, что он говорит.

34 W hile he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud.

Когда он еще говорил, показалось облако и накрыло их. Оказавшись в облаке, они очень испугались.

35 A nd a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

А из облака прозвучал голос: – Это Мой Сын, Мой избранный. Его слушайте!

36 W hen the voice had ceased, Jesus was found alone. But they kept quiet, and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen. A Boy Is Healed

Когда голос умолк, они увидели Иисуса уже одного. Они молчали об этом и в то время никому не рассказывали о том, что видели. Иисус исцеляет мальчика, одержимого нечистым духом (Мат. 17: 14-19; Мк. 9: 14-29)

37 N ow it happened on the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, that a great multitude met Him.

На следующий день, когда они спустились с горы, Иисуса встретила большая толпа.

38 S uddenly a man from the multitude cried out, saying, “Teacher, I implore You, look on my son, for he is my only child.

И один человек из толпы закричал: – Учитель, умоляю Тебя, посмотри моего сына! Он у меня один.

39 A nd behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out; it convulses him so that he foams at the mouth; and it departs from him with great difficulty, bruising him.

Иногда его схватывает дух, и тогда мальчик внезапно начинает кричать, его сводит судорогой, так что у него изо рта идет пена. Дух терзает его до полного изнеможения и лишь тогда нехотя отступает.

40 S o I implored Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.”

Я просил Твоих учеников изгнать его, но они не смогли.

41 T hen Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”

– О неверующее и испорченное поколение, – сказал Иисус, – сколько Мне еще быть с вами и терпеть вас? Приведи сына сюда.

42 A nd as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father. Jesus Again Predicts His Death

Когда мальчик еще шел, дух бросил его на землю в припадке. Но Иисус приказал нечистому духу, исцелил мальчика, а затем отдал его отцу.

43 A nd they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples,

Все были поражены величием Бога. Иисус снова говорит о Своей смерти (Мат. 17: 22-23; Мк. 9: 30-32) В то время, как все удивлялись тому, что совершил Иисус, Он сказал Своим ученикам:

44 “ Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.”

– Слушайте внимательно, что Я вам сейчас скажу: Сын Человеческий будет предан в руки людей.

45 B ut they did not understand this saying, and it was hidden from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying. Who Is the Greatest?

Но они не поняли, что Он имел в виду, от них это было сокрыто, так что они не поняли смысла сказанного, а спросить, что означают Его слова, боялись. Ученики спорят о том, кто из них самый великий (Мат. 18: 1-5; Мк. 9: 33-37)

46 T hen a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest.

Среди учеников как-то начался спор о том, кто из них важнее.

47 A nd Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him,

Иисус, зная их мысли, взял маленького ребенка и поставил его рядом с Собой.

48 a nd said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.” Jesus Forbids Sectarianism

– Кто ради Меня принимает такого ребенка, – сказал Иисус, – тот принимает и Меня, а кто принимает Меня, тот принимает и Пославшего Меня. Кто среди вас меньше всех, тот и велик. Кто не против вас, тот за вас (Мк. 9: 38-40)

49 N ow John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.”

– Наставник, – сказал Иоанн, – мы видели человека, который Твоим Именем изгонял демонов, и мы запрещали ему, потому что он не следует за Тобой вместе с нами.

50 B ut Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.” A Samaritan Village Rejects the Savior

– Не запрещайте, – сказал Иисус. – Кто не против вас, тот за вас. Отвержение Иисуса Христа самарянами

51 N ow it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,

Когда Иисусу подошло время быть взятым на небо, Он направился в Иерусалим.

52 a nd sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him.

Вперед Себя Он послал вестников, и те пошли в одно из самарянских селений, чтобы приготовить все к Его приходу.

53 B ut they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem.

Но жители селения не приняли Его, потому что Он шел в Иерусалим.

54 A nd when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”

Увидев это, Его ученики Иаков и Иоанн сказали: – Господи, хочешь, мы прикажем огню сойти с неба и всех их истребить, как и Илия сделал?

55 B ut He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.

Но Иисус, обернувшись, запретил им и сказал: – Вы не знаете, какого вы духа,

56 F or the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them. ” And they went to another village. The Cost of Discipleship

ведь Сын Человеческий пришел не губить человеческие души, а спасать. И они пошли в другое селение. Иисус говорит о цене следования за Ним (Мат. 8: 19-22)

57 N ow it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”

Когда они шли по дороге, один человек сказал Иисусу: – Я пойду за Тобой, куда бы Ты ни пошел.

58 A nd Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

Иисус ответил: – У лисиц есть норы, и у птиц небесных – гнезда, а Сыну Человеческому негде и голову приклонить.

59 T hen He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Другому человеку Иисус сказал: – Следуй за Мной. Но тот ответил: – Господи, разреши мне прежде пойти и похоронить отца моего.

60 J esus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”

– Пусть мертвые хоронят своих мертвецов, а ты иди и провозглашай Божье Царство, – сказал ему Иисус.

61 A nd another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”

Еще один человек сказал Ему: – Я пойду за Тобой, Господи, но позволь мне прежде пойти и попрощаться с моей семьей.

62 B ut Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Иисус ответил: – Ни один человек, положивший руку на плуг и оглядывающийся назад, не пригоден для Божьего Царства.
