1 I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To you, Yahweh, I will sing praises.

Cantarei a benignidade e o juízo; a ti, Senhor, cantarei.

2 I will be careful to live a blameless life. When will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a blameless heart.

Portar-me-ei sabiamente no caminho reto. Oh, quando virás ter comigo? Andarei em minha casa com integridade de coração.

3 I will set no vile thing before my eyes. I hate the deeds of faithless men. They will not cling to me.

Não porei coisa torpe diante dos meus olhos; aborreço as ações daqueles que se desviam; isso não se apagará a mim.

4 A perverse heart will be far from me. I will have nothing to do with evil.

Longe de mim estará o coração perverso; não conhecerei o mal.

5 I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I won’t tolerate one who is haughty and conceited.

Aquele que difama o seu próximo

6 M y eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me.

Os meus olhos estão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que habitem comigo; o que anda no caminho perfeito, esse me servirá.

7 H e who practices deceit won’t dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood won’t be established before my eyes.

O que usa de fraude não habitará em minha casa; o que profere mentiras não estará firme perante os meus olhos.

8 M orning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from Yahweh’s city.

De manhã em manhã destruirei todos os ímpios da terra, para desarraigar da cidade do Senhor todos os que praticam a iniqüidade.
