1 T u nos rejeitaste e nos dispersaste, ó Deus; tu derramaste a tua ira; restaura-nos agora!

6 D o seu santuário Deus falou: “No meu triunfo dividirei Siquém e repartirei o vale de Sucote.

God has spoken in His holiness: “I will exult, I will portion out Shechem and measure out the valley of Succoth.

7 G ileade é minha, Manassés também; Efraim é o meu capacete, Judá é o meu cetro.

“ Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is the helmet of My head; Judah is My scepter.

8 M oabe é a pia em que me lavo, em Edom atiro a minha sandália; sobre a Filístia dou meu brado de vitória!”

“ Moab is My washbowl; Over Edom I shall throw My shoe; Shout loud, O Philistia, because of Me!”

9 Q uem me levará à cidade fortificada? Quem me guiará a Edom?

Who will bring me into the besieged city? Who will lead me to Edom?

10 N ão foste tu, ó Deus, que nos rejeitaste e deixaste de sair com os nossos exércitos?

Have not You Yourself, O God, rejected us? And will You not go forth with our armies, O God?

11 D á-nos ajuda contra os adversários, pois inútil é o socorro do homem.

O give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain.

12 C om Deus conquistaremos a vitória, e ele pisoteará os nossos adversários.

Through God we shall do valiantly, And it is He who will tread down our adversaries.
