1 E les trouxeram a arca de Deus e a colocaram na tenda que Davi lhe havia preparado, e ofereceram holocaustos e sacrifícios de comunhão diante de Deus.

And they brought in the ark of God and placed it inside the tent which David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

2 A pós oferecer os holocaustos e os sacrifícios de comunhão, Davi abençoou o povo em nome do Senhor

When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

3 e deu um pão, um bolo de tâmaras e um bolo de uvas passas a cada homem e a cada mulher israelita.

He distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread and a portion of meat and a raisin cake.

4 D avi nomeou alguns dos levitas para ministrarem diante da arca do Senhor, fazendo petições, dando graças e louvando o Senhor, o Deus de Israel.

He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of the Lord, even to celebrate and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:

5 D esses, Asafe era o chefe, Zacarias vinha em seguida, e depois Jeiel, Semiramote, Jeiel, Matitias, Eliabe, Benaia, Obede-Edom e Jeiel. Eles deviam tocar lira e harpa, enquanto Asafe tocava os címbalos.

7 F oi naquele dia que, pela primeira vez, Davi encarregou Asafe e seus parentes de louvarem o Senhor com salmos de gratidão:

Then on that day David first assigned Asaph and his relatives to give thanks to the Lord. Psalm of Thanksgiving

8 “ Dêem graças ao Senhor, clamem pelo seu nome, divulguem entre as nações o que ele tem feito.

Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.

9 C antem para ele, louvem-no; contem todos os seus atos maravilhosos.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.

10 G loriem-se no seu santo nome; alegre-se o coração dos que buscam o Senhor.

Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.

11 O lhem para o Senhor e para a sua força; busquem sempre a sua face.

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually.

12 L embrem-se das maravilhas que ele fez, dos seus prodígios e das ordenanças que pronunciou,

Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done, His marvels and the judgments from His mouth,

13 ó descendentes de Israel, seu servo, ó filhos de Jacó, seus escolhidos.

O seed of Israel His servant, Sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!

14 “ Ele é o Senhor, o nosso Deus; seu domínio alcança toda a terra.

He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

15 P ara sempre se lembra da sua aliança, da palavra que ordenou para mil gerações,

Remember His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,

16 d a aliança que fez com Abraão, do juramento que fez a Isaque,

The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac.

17 q ue confirmou para Jacó como um decreto, e para Israel como uma aliança eterna, dizendo:

He also confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

18 ‘ A vocês darei a terra de Canaã, a herança que possuirão’.

Saying, “ To you I will give the land of Canaan, As the portion of your inheritance.”

19 “ Quando eles ainda eram poucos, muito poucos, sendo estrangeiros nela,

When they were only a few in number, Very few, and strangers in it,

20 e vagueando de nação em nação, de um reino a outro,

And they wandered about from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people,

21 e le não permitiu que ninguém os oprimisse; por causa deles repreendeu reis, ordenando:

He permitted no man to oppress them, And He reproved kings for their sakes, saying,

22 ‘ Não maltratem os meus ungidos; não façam mal aos meus profetas’.

“Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”

23 “ Cantem ao Senhor, todas as terras! Proclamem a sua salvação dia após dia!

Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.

24 A nunciem a sua glória entre as nações, seus feitos maravilhosos entre todos os povos!

Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

25 P ois o Senhor é grande e muitíssimo digno de louvor; ele deve ser mais temido que todos os deuses.

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.

26 P ois todos os deuses das nações não passam de ídolos, mas o Senhor fez os céus.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.

27 O esplendor e a majestade estão diante dele; força e alegria na sua habitação.

Splendor and majesty are before Him, Strength and joy are in His place.

28 D êem ao Senhor, ó famílias das nações, dêem ao Senhor glória e força!

Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.

29 D êem ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome. Tragam ofertas e venham à sua presença. Adorem o Senhor no esplendor da sua santidade,

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him; Worship the Lord in holy array.

30 t remam diante dele, todas as nações! Firmou o mundo, e este não se abalará!

Tremble before Him, all the earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

31 Q ue os céus se alegrem e a terra exulte, e diga-se entre as nações: ‘O Senhor reina!’

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; And let them say among the nations, “ The Lord reigns.”

32 R essoe o mar, e tudo o que nele existe; exultem os campos, e tudo o que neles há!

Let the sea roar, and all it contains; Let the field exult, and all that is in it.

33 E ntão as árvores da floresta cantarão de alegria, cantarão diante do Senhor, pois ele vem julgar a terra.

Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the Lord; For He is coming to judge the earth.

34 “ Rendam graças ao Senhor, pois ele é bom; o seu amor dura para sempre.

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

35 C lamem: ‘Salva-nos, ó Deus, nosso Salvador! Reúne-nos e livra-nos das nações, para que demos graças ao teu santo nome e façamos do teu louvor a nossa glória’.

Then say, “Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name, And glory in Your praise.”

36 B endito seja o Senhor, o Deus de Israel, de eternidade a eternidade”. Então todo o povo exclamou: “Amém!” e “Louvado seja o Senhor!”

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, From everlasting even to everlasting. Then all the people said, “Amen,” and praised the Lord. Worship before the Ark

37 D avi deixou Asafe e seus parentes diante da arca da aliança do Senhor para ali ministrarem regularmente, de acordo com as prescrições para cada dia.

So he left Asaph and his relatives there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;

38 T ambém deixou Obede-Edom e seus sessenta e oito parentes para ministrarem com eles. Obede-Edom, filho de Jedutum, e também Hosa, foram porteiros.

and Obed-edom with his 68 relatives; Obed-edom, also the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah as gatekeepers.

39 D avi deixou o sacerdote Zadoque e seus parentes sacerdotes diante do tabernáculo do Senhor em Gibeom

He left Zadok the priest and his relatives the priests before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place which was at Gibeon,

And with them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun for the gate.

43 E ntão todo o povo partiu, cada um para a sua casa, e Davi voltou para casa para abençoar sua família.

Then all the people departed each to his house, and David returned to bless his household.
