1 T hen he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

Ele me mostrou o sumo sacerdote Josué, o qual estava diante do anjo do Senhor, e Satanás estava ã sua mão direita, para se lhe opor.

2 A nd the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

Mas o anjo do Senhor disse a Satanás: Que o Senhor te repreenda, ó Satanás; sim, o Senhor, que escolheu Jerusalém, te repreenda! Não é este um tição tirado do fogo?

3 N ow Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

Ora Josué, vestido de trajes sujos, estava em pé diante do anjo.

4 T hen He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”

Então falando este, ordenou aos que estavam diante dele, dizendo: Tirai-lhe estes trajes sujos. E a Josué disse: Eis que tenho feito com que passe de ti a tua iniqüidade, e te vestirei de trajes festivos.

5 A nd I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by. The Coming Branch

Também disse eu: Ponham-lhe sobre a cabeça uma mitra limpa. Puseram-lhe, pois, sobre a cabeça uma mitra limpa, e vestiram-no; e o anjo do Senhor estava ali de pe.

6 T hen the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,

E o anjo do Senhor protestou a Josué, dizendo:

7 “ Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.

Assim diz o Senhor dos exércitos: Se andares nos meus caminhos, e se observares as minhas ordenanças, também tu julgarás a minha casa, e também guardarás os meus átrios, e te darei lugar entre os que estão aqui.

8 ‘ Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

Ouve, pois, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tu e os teus companheiros que se assentam diante de ti, porque são homens portentosos; eis que eu farei vir o meu servo, o Renovo.

9 F or behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Pois eis aqui a pedra que pus diante de Josué; sobre esta pedra única estão sete olhos. Eis que eu esculpirei a sua escultura, diz o Senhor dos exércitos, e tirarei a iniqüidade desta terra num só dia.

10 I n that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.’”

Naquele dia, diz o Senhor dos exércitos, cada um de vós convidará o seu vizinho para debaixo da videira e para debaixo da figueira.
