1 T hen he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.

Entonces me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué, que estaba delante del ángel del Señor; y Satanás (el adversario) estaba a su derecha para acusarlo.

2 A nd the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

Y el ángel del Señor dijo a Satanás: “El Señor te reprenda, Satanás. Repréndate el Señor que ha escogido a Jerusalén. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del fuego ?”

3 N ow Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.

Josué estaba vestido de ropas sucias, en pie delante del ángel.

4 T hen He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”

Y éste habló, y dijo a los que estaban delante de él: “Quítenle las ropas sucias.” Y a él le dijo: “Mira, he quitado de ti tu iniquidad y te vestiré con ropas de gala.”

5 A nd I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the Lord stood by. The Coming Branch

Después dijo: “Que le pongan un turbante limpio en la cabeza.” Y le pusieron un turbante limpio en la cabeza y le vistieron con ropas de gala; y el ángel del Señor estaba allí.

6 T hen the Angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,

Entonces el ángel del Señor amonestó a Josué, diciendo:

7 “ Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘If you will walk in My ways, And if you will keep My command, Then you shall also judge My house, And likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk Among these who stand here.

“Así dice el Señor de los ejércitos: ‘Si andas en Mis caminos, y si guardas Mis ordenanzas, también tú gobernarás Mi casa. Además tendrás a tu cargo Mis atrios y te daré libre acceso entre éstos que están aquí.

8 ‘ Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.

Escucha ahora, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan ante ti, que son hombres de presagio, pues Yo voy a traer a Mi siervo, el Renuevo.

9 F or behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘And I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

Porque la piedra que he puesto delante de Josué, sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos. Yo grabaré una inscripción en ella,’ declara el Señor de los ejércitos, ‘y quitaré la iniquidad de esta tierra en un solo día.

10 I n that day,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.’”

Aquel día,’ declara el Señor de los ejércitos, ‘convidarán cada uno a su prójimo bajo su parra y bajo su higuera.’”
