1 “ Hear this, O priests! Take heed, O house of Israel! Give ear, O house of the king! For yours is the judgment, Because you have been a snare to Mizpah And a net spread on Tabor.

¡Oigan esto, sacerdotes! ¡Estén atentos, casa de Israel! ¡Escuchen casa del rey! Porque para ustedes es el juicio; Pues han sido lazo en Mizpa, Y red tendida en el Monte Tabor.

2 T he revolters are deeply involved in slaughter, Though I rebuke them all.

Los rebeldes se han ahondado en la perversión; Pero Yo los castigaré a todos ellos.

3 I know Ephraim, And Israel is not hidden from Me; For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry; Israel is defiled.

Yo conozco a Efraín, e Israel no se me oculta; Porque ahora te has prostituido, Efraín, Se ha contaminado Israel.

4 “ They do not direct their deeds Toward turning to their God, For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst, And they do not know the Lord.

No les permiten sus obras Volver a su Dios, Porque hay un espíritu de prostitución dentro de ellos, Y no conocen al Señor.

5 T he pride of Israel testifies to his face; Therefore Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity; Judah also stumbles with them.

Además, el orgullo de Israel testifica contra él, E Israel y Efraín tropiezan en su iniquidad; También Judá ha tropezado con ellos.

6 “ With their flocks and herds They shall go to seek the Lord, But they will not find Him; He has withdrawn Himself from them.

7 T hey have dealt treacherously with the Lord, For they have begotten pagan children. Now a New Moon shall devour them and their heritage.

8 “ Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah, The trumpet in Ramah! Cry aloud at Beth Aven, ‘ Look behind you, O Benjamin!’

Toquen la bocina en Guibeá, La trompeta en Ramá. Suenen alarma en Bet Avén: ¡Estáte alerta, Benjamín!

9 E phraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure.

Efraín será una desolación en el día de la reprensión; En las tribus de Israel Yo hago saber lo que es cierto.

10 “ The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark; I will pour out My wrath on them like water.

Los príncipes de Judá son como los que mueven los linderos; Sobre ellos derramaré Mi furor como agua.

11 E phraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, Because he willingly walked by human precept.

Efraín está oprimido, quebrantado por el juicio, Porque insistía en seguir mandato de hombre.

12 T herefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth, And to the house of Judah like rottenness.

Yo, pues, soy como polilla para Efraín, Y como carcoma para la casa de Judá.

13 “ When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah saw his wound, Then Ephraim went to Assyria And sent to King Jareb; Yet he cannot cure you, Nor heal you of your wound.

Cuando Efraín vio su enfermedad Y Judá su herida, Efraín fue a Asiria Y envió mensaje al rey Jareb (al gran rey); Pero él no los podrá sanar, Ni curar su herida.

14 F or I will be like a lion to Ephraim, And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them and go away; I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.

Porque Yo seré como león para Efraín, Y como leoncillo para la casa de Judá. Yo, Yo mismo, desgarraré y me iré, Arrebataré y no habrá quien libre.

15 I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

Me iré y volveré a Mi lugar Hasta que reconozcan su culpa y busquen Mi rostro; En su angustia Me buscarán con diligencia.
