1 L ord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

Господи, Ты был милостив к Своей земле; Ты вернул благополучие Иакову.

2 T hou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

Ты простил беззаконие Своего народа и покрыл все его грехи. Пауза

3 T hou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

Ты отвел Свою ярость, отвратил Свой пылающий гнев.

4 T urn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

Восстанови нас, Боже, наш Спаситель, прекрати Свое негодование на нас.

5 W ilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

Неужели Ты будешь гневаться на нас вечно, продлевать Свой гнев из поколения в поколение?

6 W ilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Неужели не оживишь нас вновь, чтобы народ Твой возрадовался о Тебе?

7 S hew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

Яви нам, Господи, милость Твою и даруй нам спасение Твое.

8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Послушаю, что скажет Господь Бог, ведь Он обещает мир Своему народу – тем, кто верен Ему. Лишь бы они снова не впали в безумие.

9 S urely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Истинно, близко Его спасение к тем, кто боится Его, чтобы слава Его поселилась на нашей земле.

10 M ercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Милость и истина встретятся, праведность и мир поцелуются.

11 T ruth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Истина поднимется с земли, и праведность посмотрит вниз с небес.

12 Y ea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

Господь воистину даст нам благо, и наша земля принесет урожай.

13 R ighteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Праведность идет перед Ним и для Его стоп готовит путь.
