1 P raise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

Славлю Господа всем своим сердцем в совете праведных и в собрании.

2 T he works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

Велики дела Господа, желанны всеми, кто любит их.

3 H is work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Славны и великолепны деяния Его; праведность Его пребудет вечно.

4 H e hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Памятными сделал Он Свои дела, милостив и милосерден Господь.

5 H e hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Он дает пищу боящимся Его, вечно помнит Свой завет.

6 H e hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

Народу Своему Он явил силу Своих дел, отдав им землю чужих народов.

7 T he works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

Дела Его рук истинны и справедливы, Его наставления верны.

8 T hey stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

Вечно тверды они и основаны на истине и правоте.

9 H e sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

Своему народу послал Он избавление, установил навечно Свой завет. Его Имя свято и грозно!

10 T he fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Начало мудрости – страх перед Господом. Разумны те, кто исполняет Его наставления. Вечная хвала Ему.
