1 T he word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

Было ко мне слово Господа:

2 N ow, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

– Сын человеческий, подними плач о Тире.

3 A nd say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.

Скажи Тиру, расположенному у морских ворот, купцу народов на многих берегах: Так говорит Владыка Господь: «Тир, ты говоришь: ”Моя красота совершенна”.

4 T hy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

Домом твоим было открытое море; твои зодчие довели красоту твою до совершенства.

5 T hey have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

Доски твои они изготовили из сосен Сенира; для мачты твоей они взяли ливанский кедр.

6 O f the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.

Из башанских дубов смастерили они твои весла; из кипариса что с кипрских берегов сделали твою палубу, выложив слоновой костью.

7 F ine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

Из полотен льняных были твои паруса, из расшитого льна Египта; были они твоим флагом. Из голубых и пурпурных тканей, с берегов Элиши были сделаны твои тенты.

8 T he inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.

Сидоняне и арвадяне были твоими гребцами, а твои ловкие юноши, о Тир, были твоими кормчими.

9 T he ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

Из Гевала опытные ремесленники были твоими плотниками, конопатили швы твоей обшивки. Все морские суда с моряками приходили к тебе за товаром.

10 T hey of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

Мужчины из Персии, Лидии Ливии были воинами в твоем войске. Они вешали на твои стены щиты и шлемы, придавая тебе величие.

11 T he men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

Мужчины Арвада и Хелеха стояли на стенах твоих повсюду; мужчины Гаммада стояли на твоих башнях. Щитами своими они стены твои увешали. Они довели красоту твою до совершенства.

12 T arshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

– Таршиш торговал с тобой, потому что ты был несметно богат. Он давал в обмен на твои товары серебро, железо, олово и свинец.

13 J avan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

Греция, Тувал и Мешех вели с тобой торговлю. Они давали в обмен на твои товары рабов и бронзовую утварь.

14 T hey of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

Жители Бет-Тогармы давали в обмен на твои товары тягловых и боевых коней и мулов.

15 T he men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

Роданитяне вели с тобой торговлю; многие побережья были твоими базарами. Они расплачивались с тобой слоновой костью и черным деревом.

16 S yria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

Арам торговал с тобой, потому что у тебя было много добра. Он давал в обмен на твои товары бирюзу, пурпурные ткани, вышитые изделия, тонкий лен, кораллы и рубины.

17 J udah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

Иудея и Израиль вели с тобой торговлю. Они давали в обмен на твои товары пшеницу из Миннита и сласти, мед, оливковое масло и бальзам.

18 D amascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

Дамаск торговал с тобой вином из Хелбона и шерстью из Цахара, потому что у тебя было много добра и несметных богатств.

19 D an also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

Данитяне и греки из Узала покупали твои товары. Они давали в обмен на них кованое железо, кассию и благовонный тростник.

20 D edan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

Дедан торговал с тобой попонами для верховой езды.

21 A rabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.

Аравия и властители Кедара были твоими покупателями. Они торговали с тобой ягнятами, баранами и козлами.

22 T he merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

Купцы Шевы и Раамы вели с тобой торговлю. Они давали в обмен на твои товары лучшие из пряностей, драгоценные камни и золото.

23 H aran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.

Харран, Хане и Еден и купцы Шевы, Ассирии и Хилмада вели с тобой торговлю.

24 T hese were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

На твоем рынке они вели с тобой торговлю дорогой одеждой, голубыми тканями, шитьем и разноцветными коврами, которые были надежно связаны веревками.

25 T he ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

– Таршишские корабли перевозили твои товары. Ты был нагружен тяжелой кладью над бездной морскою.

26 T hy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

В открытое море гребцы тебя вывели. Восточный ветер разбил тебя над бездной морскою.

27 T hy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

Твои богатства, добро и товары, твои мореходы и кормчие с плотниками, торговцы и все твои воины со всеми, кто был на борту, канут в морскую бездну в день твоего крушения.

28 T he suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

Берега содрогнутся от воплей твоих кормчих.

29 A nd all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

Все, кто сидит на веслах, сойдут со своих кораблей. Мореходы со всеми кормчими встанут на берегу.

30 A nd shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

Примутся громко сетовать о тебе и горестно причитать. Они посыплют головы пеплом и вываляются в пыли;

31 A nd they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.

обреют головы из-за тебя и наденут рубище. Они станут с мукой в сердце тебя оплакивать горестным плачем;

32 A nd in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

горюя, затянут скорбную песню, оплакивая тебя: “Кто был словно замолчавший Тир, над бездной морской?“

33 W hen thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

Когда приходили с моря твои товары, ты насыщал многочисленные народы. Несметным твоим богатством и твоей торговлей обогащал ты царей земли.

34 I n the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

А теперь ты морем разбит в безднах водных; твои товары и все твои люди потонули вместе с тобой.

35 A ll the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.

Все живущие на побережье ужаснулись твоей судьбе. Их цари от страха дрожат, лица ужасом исказились.

36 T he merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt be any more.

Торговцы других народов освистывают тебя. Ты встретил страшный конец. Не будет тебя вовеки.
