1 A nd the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the Lord by thy estimation.

– Говори с израильтянами и скажи им: «Если кто-нибудь даст особый обет, чтобы посвятить Господу человека, заплатив за него столько, сколько он стоит,

3 A nd thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

то оцени мужчину в возрасте между двадцатью и шестьюдесятью годами в пятьдесят шекелей серебра по шекелю святилища.

4 A nd if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

Если это женщина, оцени ее в тридцать шекелей.

5 A nd if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

Если возраст между пятью и двадцатью годами, оцени мужчину в двадцать шекелей, а женщину в десять шекелей.

6 A nd if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

Если возраст между месяцем и пятью годами, оцени мальчика в пять шекелей серебра, а девочку в три шекеля серебра.

7 A nd if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

Если возраст – шестьдесят лет и больше, оцени мужчину в пятнадцать шекелей, а женщину в десять шекелей.

8 B ut if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

Если тот, кто дал обет, слишком беден, чтобы заплатить установленное, пусть приведет человека к священнику, чтобы тот оценил его по достатку жертвующего.

9 A nd if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the Lord, all that any man giveth of such unto the Lord shall be holy.

Если по обету посвящают скот, который можно приносить в жертву Господу, то животное, отданное Господу, становится святыней.

10 H e shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

Его нельзя ни менять, ни заменять хорошее на плохое или плохое на хорошее. Если одно животное заменят другим, то оба они станут святыней.

11 A nd if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

Если по обету посвящают нечистое животное, которое нельзя приносить в жертву Господу, пусть его приведут к священнику,

12 A nd the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

который оценит его: хорошее оно или плохое, и какую оценку священник установит, такой она и будет.

13 B ut if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

Если хозяин захочет выкупить животное, пусть добавит к его стоимости пятую часть.

14 A nd when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the Lord, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

Если человек посвящает Господу свой дом, священник оценит его: хорош он или плох, и какую оценку священник установит, такой она и будет.

15 A nd if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

Если человек, который посвятил свой дом, захочет выкупить его, пусть добавит к его стоимости ее пятую часть, и дом опять станет принадлежать ему.

16 A nd if a man shall sanctify unto the Lord some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

Если человек посвящает Господу участок поля, которое отошло к нему по наследству, его нужно оценить по тому, сколько для него требуется семян – по пятьдесят шекелей серебра за гомер ячменя.

17 I f he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

Если он посвящает поле в юбилейный год, эта оценка останется неизменной.

18 B ut if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

А если он посвящает свое поле после юбилея, пусть священник оценит его, взяв в расчет количество лет, которые остались до следующего юбилейного года, и соответственно снизит оценку.

19 A nd if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

Если человек, который посвятил поле, захочет выкупить его, пусть добавит к его стоимости ее пятую часть, и поле опять станет его.

20 A nd if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

Но если поле не было выкуплено или было продано другому человеку, выкупить его уже нельзя.

21 B ut the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the Lord, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

Когда такое поле освободится в юбилей, оно станет святыней, как поле, посвященное Господу; оно станет собственностью священников.

22 A nd if a man sanctify unto the Lord a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

Если человек посвящает Господу поле, которое он купил, а не унаследовал,

23 T hen the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the Lord.

пусть священник оценит его, взяв в расчет количество лет, которые остались до следующего юбилейного года, и пусть стоимость будет выплачена в тот же день. Это священное пожертвование Господу.

24 I n the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

В юбилейный год поле вернется к человеку, у которого его купили, к тому, чьей наследной землей оно было.

25 A nd all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

Все оценки нужно устанавливать по шекелю святилища, в одном шекеле двадцать гер.

26 O nly the firstling of the beasts, which should be the Lord 's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the Lord 's.

Но пусть никто не посвящает первородных из животных, потому что первенцы и так принадлежат Господу; вол ли это или баран – они Господни.

27 A nd if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

Если это нечистое животное, его можно выкупить, заплатив его стоимость по оценке и добавив к ней ее пятую часть. Если его не выкупят, его нужно продать за его стоимость.

28 N otwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the Lord of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the Lord.

Но никто не может ни продать, ни выкупить ничего из того, чем он владел и что посвятил Господу по обету, будь то человек, животное или наследная земля. Все, что было посвящено по обету, – это великая святыня Господа.

29 N one devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

Человека, который был посвящен по обету, выкупить нельзя; его нужно предать смерти.

30 A nd all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord 's: it is holy unto the Lord.

Десятая часть от всех произведений земли, зерна ли с земли, или плодов с деревьев, принадлежит Господу. Это святыня Господа.

31 A nd if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

Если человек захочет выкупить одну из своих десятин, пусть он добавит к ней пятую часть ее стоимости.

32 A nd concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.

Все десятины из крупного и мелкого скота – каждое десятое животное, которое проходит под жезлом счетовода – будут святыней Господа.

33 H e shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

Пусть хозяин не разбирает, хорошее оно или плохое, и не делает никакой замены. Если он сделает замену, то оба животных станут святыней и не могут быть выкуплены».

34 T hese are the commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

Таковы повеления, которые Господь дал Моисею для израильтян на горе Синай.
