1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Обрадовался я, когда мне сказали: «Пойдем в дом Господень».

2 O ur feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

Ноги наши стоят у твоих ворот, Иерусалим.

3 J erusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

Иерусалим – плотно застроенный город.

4 W hither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.

Туда поднимаются роды, роды Господни, по закону Израилю, воздать хвалу Имени Господа.

5 F or there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

Там стоят престолы суда, престолы дома Давидова.

6 P ray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

Молитесь о мире для Иерусалима: «Пусть будут благополучны любящие тебя.

7 P eace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

Пусть будет мир в твоих стенах и благополучие в твоих дворцах».

8 F or my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

Ради братьев и моих друзей скажу: «Мир тебе!»

9 B ecause of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.

Ради дома Господа, нашего Бога, желаю блага тебе, Иерусалим.
