1 A rise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

– Встань, воссияй, так как свет твой пришел, и слава Господня уже восходит над тобою.

2 F or, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Вот, мрак покроет землю, и тьма – народы, но над тобою взойдет Господь, и слава Его явится над тобою.

3 A nd the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Народы придут к твоему свету, и цари – к сиянию твоей зари.

4 L ift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

Подними взгляд и оглянись вокруг: все они собираются и идут к тебе; твои сыновья придут издалека, твоих дочерей будут нести к тебе на руках.

5 T hen thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

Тогда ты посмотришь и воссияешь; твое сердце будет трепетать и ликовать. Сокровища моря к тебе принесут, к тебе придут богатства народов.

6 T he multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the Lord.

Караваны верблюдов покроют твою землю, караваны молодых верблюдов из Мадиана и Ефы. И все из Шевы придут, принесут золото и благовония и возвестят славу Господа.

7 A ll the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

К тебе соберут все стада Кедара, послужат тебе овны Невайота: они будут приятной жертвой на жертвеннике Моем, и прославлю Я прекрасный дом Мой.

8 W ho are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

Кто они, летящие, как облака, как голуби в свои гнезда?

9 S urely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

Ждут Меня острова; первыми – таршишские корабли, везущие издали твоих сыновей, вместе с их серебром и золотом, во славу Господа, твоего Бога, Святого Израиля, потому что Он прославил тебя.

10 A nd the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

Чужеземцы отстроят твои стены, и цари их будут тебе служить. Хотя Я в гневе тебя поразил, но в благоволении Моем Я помилую тебя

11 T herefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

Ворота твои будут всегда открыты, закрываться не будут ни днем, ни ночью, чтобы народы могли приносить тебе свои богатства, и царей их вели бы в шествии.

12 F or the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.

Потому что погибнет народ или царство, что не станет тебе служить; до конца истребятся такие народы.

13 T he glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.

Слава Ливана придет к тебе – кипарис, платан и сосна, чтобы украсить место Моего святилища – Мое подножие, которое Я прославлю.

14 T he sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Сыновья твоих притеснителей придут к тебе на поклон; все, презиравшие тебя, поклонятся тебе в ноги. И Я назову тебя Городом Господним, Сионом Святого Израиля.

15 W hereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

Пусть был ты покинут и ненавидим, и никто через тебя не проходил, – Я навеки тебя возвеличу, сделаю радостью для всех поколений.

16 T hou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Будешь ты пить молоко народов и царственной грудью будешь вскормлен. Тогда ты узнаешь, что Я, Господь – твой Спаситель, твой Искупитель, Могучий Иакова.

17 F or brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.

Вместо бронзы Я доставлю тебе золото и серебро вместо железа. Вместо дерева – бронзу, вместо камней – железо. Твоим надсмотрщиком Я сделаю мир и твоим надзирателем – праведность.

18 V iolence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

Насилия больше не будет слышно в твоей земле, ни гибели, ни разорения – в твоих границах. Ты назовешь свои стены Спасением и ворота свои – Хвалой.

19 T he sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

Солнце уже не будет светом твоим дневным, и сияние луны не будет светить тебе, но Господь станет твоим светом навсегда, Бог твой будет славой твоей.

20 T hy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Солнце твое уже не закатится, и луна твоя больше не будет ущербной; Господь будет твоим вечным светом, и кончатся дни твоей скорби.

21 T hy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

Тогда все в народе твоем будут праведниками и овладеют землей навеки. Они – побег, который Я посадил, дело рук Моих, чтобы явить славу Мою.

22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.

Меньший из них станет тысячью, младший – могучим народом. Когда наступит время, то Я – Господь, быстро совершу это.
