1 N ow these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

Сигон, царь аморреев, который жил в Хешбоне. Он властвовал от Ароера, что на берегу потока Арнона, и от середины долины до реки Яббока, границы аммонитян: это половина Галаада.

3 A nd from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth; and from the south, under Ashdothpisgah:

Еще он владел иорданской долиной к востоку от моря Киннерет до моря иорданской долины (Соленое море ), к Бет-Ешимоту, а потом к югу под склонами Фасги.

4 A nd the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

5 A nd reigned in mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, unto the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

властвовал над горой Хермон, Салхою и всем Башаном до границы жителей Гешура и Маахи, и над половиной Галаада до границы Сигона, царя Хешбона.

6 T hem did Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel smite: and Moses the servant of the Lord gave it for a possession unto the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.

Моисей, слуга Господа, и израильтяне разбили их. Моисей, слуга Господа, отдал их землю во владение рувимитам, гадитам и половине рода Манассии.

7 A nd these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baalgad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;

8 I n the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:

нагорья, западные предгорья, иорданскую долину, горные склоны, пустыню и Негев – земли хеттов, аморреев, хананеев, ферезеев, хивеев и иевусеев):

9 T he king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

царь Иерихона один царь Гая, что рядом с Вефилем, один

10 T he king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

царь Иерусалима один царь Хеврона один

11 T he king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

царь Ярмута один царь Лахиша один

12 T he king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

царь Эглона один царь Гезера один

13 T he king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

царь Давира один царь Гадера один

14 T he king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

царь Хормы один царь Арада один

15 T he king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;

царь Кедеша один царь Иокнеама, что при Кармиле один

23 T he king of Dor in the coast of Dor, one; the king of the nations of Gilgal, one;

царь Дора, что при возвышенностях Дора один царь Гоима в Гилгале один

24 T he king of Tirzah, one: all the kings thirty and one.

царь Тирцы один − всего тридцать один царь.
