1 P raise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 T he works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 H is work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever.
4 H e hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
He has made His wonders to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and compassionate.
5 H e hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever.
6 H e hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.
7 T he works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are sure.
8 T hey stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness.
9 H e sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name.
10 T he fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
