¶ When the LORD shall turn again the captivity of Zion, we shall be like those that dream.

2 A tunci gura ne era plină de strigăte de bucurie, şi limba de cîntări de veselie. Atunci se spunea printre neamuri:,, Domnul a făcut mari lucruri pentru ei!``

Then our mouth shall be filled with laughter and our tongue with singing; then they shall say among the Gentiles, The LORD has done great things with them.

3 D a, Domnul a făcut mari lucruri pentru noi, şi deaceea sîntem plini de bucurie.

The LORD has done great things with us, of which we shall be glad.

4 D oamne, adu înapoi pe prinşii noştri de război, ca pe nişte rîuri în partea de miază zi!

¶ Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

5 C ei ce samănă cu lăcrămi, vor secera cu cîntări de veselie.

Those that sow with tears shall reap with joy.

6 C el ce umblă plîngînd, cînd aruncă sămînţa, se întoarce cu veselie, cînd îşi strînge snopii.

He that goes forth and weeps, bearing the precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
