1 N ot to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and loving-kindness and for the sake of Your truth and faithfulness!

(114-9) Не нам, Господи, не нам, але Йменню Своєму дай славу за милість Твою, за правду Твою!

2 W hy should the nations say, Where is now their God?

(114-10) Пощо мають казати народи: Де ж то їхній Бог?

3 B ut our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

(114-11) А Бог наш на небі, усе, що хотів, учинив.

4 T he idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

(114-12) Їхні божки срібло й золото, діло рук людських:

5 T hey have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

(114-13) вони мають уста й не говорять, очі мають вони і не бачать,

6 T hey have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not;

(114-14) мають уші й не чують, мають носа й без нюху,

7 T hey have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither can they make a sound with their throats.

(114-15) мають руки та не дотикаються, мають ноги й не ходять, своїм горлом вони не говорять!

8 T hey who make idols are like them; so are all who trust in and lean on them.

(114-16) Нехай стануть такі, як вони, ті, хто їх виробляє, усі, хто надію на них покладає!

9 O Israel, trust and take refuge in the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield.

(114-17) ізраїлю, надію складай лиш на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!

10 O house of Aaron, trust in and lean on the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield.

(114-18) Аароновий доме, надійтесь на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!

11 Y ou who fear the Lord, trust in and lean on the Lord! He is their Help and their Shield.

(114-19) Ті, що Господа боїтеся, надійтесь на Господа: Він їм поміч та щит їм!

12 T he Lord has been mindful of us, He will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron,

(114-20) Господь пам'ятає про нас, нехай поблагословить! Нехай поблагословить ізраїлів дім, нехай поблагословить Він дім Ааронів!

13 H e will bless those who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord, both small and great.

(114-21) Нехай поблагословить Він тих, хто має до Господа страх, малих та великих!

14 M ay the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children.

(114-22) Нехай вас розмножить Господь, вас і ваших дітей!

15 M ay you be blessed of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth!

(114-23) Благословенні ви в Господа, що вчинив небо й землю!

16 T he heavens are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.

(114-24) Небо, небо для Господа, а землю віддав синам людським!

17 T he dead praise not the Lord, neither any who go down into silence.

(114-25) Не мертві хвалитимуть Господа, ані ті всі, хто сходить у місце мовчання,

18 B ut we will bless (affectionately and gratefully praise) the Lord from this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)

(114-26) а ми благословлятимемо Господа відтепер й аж навіки! Алілуя!
