1 O n the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel;

І сталося восьмого дня, закликав Мойсей Аарона та синів його, та старших Ізраїлевих,

2 A nd he said to Aaron, Take a young calf for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

та й сказав до Аарона: Візьми собі теля з худоби великої, на жертву за гріх, і барана на цілопалення, безвадних, і принеси перед Господнє лице.

3 A nd say to the Israelites, Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt offering,

А до синів Ізраїлевих будеш казати, говорячи: Візьміть козла на жертву за гріх, і теля й ягня однорічних, без вад, на цілопалення,

4 A lso a bull and a ram for peace offerings to sacrifice before the Lord, and a cereal offering mixed with oil, for today the Lord will appear to you.

і вола, і барана на жертву мирну, на заріз перед Господнім лицем, і хлібну жертву, мішану в оливі, бо сьогодні об'явиться вам Господь.

5 T hey brought before the Tent of Meeting what Moses commanded; all the congregation drew near and stood before the Lord.

І вони взяли, що наказав був Мойсей, перед скинію заповіту. І прийшла вся громада, та й стала перед Господнім лицем.

6 A nd Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do, and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.

І сказав Мойсей: Оце та річ, що Господь наказав був, зробите, і об'явиться вам слава Господня.

7 A nd Moses said to Aaron, Draw near to the altar and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and for the people; and offer the offering of the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded.

І сказав Мойсей до Аарона: Підійди до жертівника, і вчини свою жертву за гріх та своє цілопалення, і очисти себе та народ, і вчини жертву за народ, і очисти їх, як наказав був Господь.

8 S o Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was designated for himself.

І підійшов Аарон до жертівника, та й зарізав теля жертви за свій гріх.

9 T he sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar and poured out the blood at the altar’s base;

А сини Ааронові принесли до нього кров, і вмочив він свого пальця в кров, та й дав на роги жертівника, а кров вилив до підстави жертівника.

10 B ut the fat, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver from the sin offering he burned on the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

А лій і нирки та сальника на печінці з жертви за гріх спалив на жертівнику, як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві,

11 A nd the flesh and the hide Aaron burned with fire outside the camp.

а м'ясо та шкуру спалив в огні поза табором.

12 H e killed the burnt offering, and Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he dashed round about upon the altar.

І зарізав він жертву цілопалення, а Ааронові сини подали йому кров, і він покропив на жертівника навколо.

13 A nd they brought the burnt offering to him piece by piece, and the head, and Aaron burned them upon the altar.

А цілопалення достачали йому його частинами, і голову, а він палив на жертівнику.

14 A nd he washed the entrails and the legs and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar.

І обмив він нутрощі та голінки, і спалив на цілопаленні на жертівнику.

15 T hen Aaron presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people and killed it and offered it for sin as he did the first sin offering.

І приніс він жертву за народ, і взяв козла жертви за гріх народу, та й зарізав його, і склав його в жертві за гріх, як і першого.

16 A nd he presented the burnt offering and offered it according to the ordinance.

І він приніс цілопалення, і вчинив його за постановою.

17 A nd Aaron presented the cereal offering and took a handful of it and burned it on the altar in addition to the burnt offering of the morning.

І він приніс хлібну жертву, і наповнив із неї руку свою, та й спалив на жертівнику, крім цілопалення ранкового.

18 H e also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, for the people; and Aaron’s sons presented to him the blood, which he dashed upon the altar round about,

І зарізав він вола й барана жертву мирну, що належить народові, а сини Ааронові принесли йому кров, і він покропив нею жертівника навколо,

19 A nd the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail and that which covers the entrails, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver.

і принесли лій з вола та з барана, курдюка, і лій, що покриває нутрощі, і нирки, і сальника на печінці.

20 A nd they put the fat upon the breasts, and Aaron burned the fat upon the altar;

І поклали вони лій на грудину, а він спалив лій на жертівнику.

21 B ut the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the Lord, as Moses commanded.

А грудину та праве стегно Аарон колихав, як колихання перед Господнім лицем, як наказав був Мойсей.

22 T hen Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them, and came down after offering the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

І підняв Аарон свої руки до народу, та й поблагословив його, і зійшов від приношення жертви за гріх і цілопалення та мирної жертви.

23 M oses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

І ввійшов Мойсей та Аарон до скинії заповіту; і вийшли вони, і поблагословили народ, і слава Господня показалася всьому народові.

24 T hen there came a fire out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

І вийшов огонь від лиця Господнього, і спалив на жертівнику цілопалення та товщ. А ввесь народ бачив це, і закричали вони з радости, та й попадали на обличчя свої...
