1 T hen he brought me again to the door of the house, and behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple was toward the east; and the waters came down from under, from the right side of the temple, on the south side of the altar.

І він вернув мене до дверей храму, аж ось виходить вода з-під порога храму на схід, бо перед того храму на схід. А вода сходила здолу, з правого боку храму, з півдня від жертівника.

2 T hen he brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around outside to the outer gate by the way that faces east, and behold, waters were running out on the right side.

І він випровадив мене в напрямі брами на північ, і провів мене навколо зовнішньою дорогою до зовнішньої брами, дорогою, зверненою на схід; і ось вода виприскувала з правого боку.

3 A nd when the man went on eastward with the measuring line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were ankle-deep.

І вийшов цей чоловік на схід, а шнур був у його руці, і він відміряв тисячу ліктів, і перепровадив мене водою, водою по кістки.

4 A gain he measured a thousand cubits and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that reached to the knees. Again he measured a thousand cubits and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that reached to the loins.

І відміряв ще тисячу, і перепровадив мене водою, водою по коліна; і відміряв ще тисячу, і перепровадив мене водою по стегна.

5 A fterward he measured a thousand, and it was a river that I could not pass through, for the waters had risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over or through.

І відміряв він ще тисячу, і був потік, якого я не міг перейти, бо стала великою та вода на пливання, потік, що був неперехідний.

6 A nd he said to me, Son of man, have you seen this? Then he led me and caused me to return to the bank of the river.

І сказав він мені: Чи ти бачив це, сину людський? І повів мене, і вернув мене на берег цього потоку.

7 N ow when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

А коли я вернувся, то ось на березі потоку дуже багато дерев з цього й з того боку.

8 T hen he said to me, These waters pour out toward the eastern region and go down into the Arabah (the Jordan Valley) and on into the Dead Sea. And when they shall enter into the sea, the waters shall be healed and made fresh.

І сказав він до мене: Ця вода виходить до східньої округи, і сходить на степ, і сходить до моря, до води солоної, і вздоровиться вода.

9 A nd wherever the double river shall go, every living creature which swarms shall live. And there shall be a very great number of fish, because these waters go there that may be healed and made fresh; and everything shall live wherever the river goes.

І станеться, всяка жива душа, що роїться скрізь, куди приходить той потік, буде жити, і буде дуже багато риби, бо ввійшла туди та вода, і буде вздоровлена, і буде жити все, куди пройде той потік.

10 T he fishermen shall stand on; from En-gedi even to En-eglaim shall be a place to spread nets; their fish shall be of very many kinds, as the fish of the Great or Mediterranean Sea.

І станеться, стануть при ньому рибаки від Ен-Ґеді й аж до Ен-Еґлаїму; вода буде місцем розтягнення неводу, їхня риба буде за родом своїм, як риба Великого моря, дуже численна.

11 B ut its swamps and marshes will not become wholesome for animal life; they shall be left encrusted with salt and given over to it.

Його ж багна та калюжі його не будуть уздоровлені, на сіль вони дані.

12 A nd on the banks of the river on both its sides, there shall grow all kinds of trees for food; their leaf shall not fade nor shall their fruit fail. Each tree shall bring forth new fruit every month, because their waters came from out of the sanctuary. And their fruit shall be for food and their leaves for healing.

А над потоком виросте на його березі з цього й з того боку всяке дерево їстивне; не опаде його листя, і не перестане плід його, кожного місяця буде давати первоплоди, бо вода його вона зо святині виходить, і буде плід його на їжу, а його листя на лік.

13 T hus says the Lord God: These shall be the boundaries by which you shall divide the land among the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.

Так говорить Господь Бог: Оце границя, що ви посядете собі цю землю для дванадцяти Ізраїлевих племен; Йосип матиме два уділи.

14 A nd you shall divide it equally. I lifted up My hand and swore to give it to your fathers, and this land shall fall to you as your inheritance.

І посядете її як один, так і другий, бо, прирікаючи, підняв Я був руку Свою дати її вашим батькам, і припаде цей Край вам у спадщину.

15 A nd this shall be the boundary of the land on the north side: from the Great or Mediterranean Sea by way of Hethlon to the entrance of Zedad,

А оце границя Краю: на північному кінці від Великого моря напрямець до Хетлону, як іти до Цедаду,

16 H amath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is on the border between Damascus and Hamath, as far as Hazer-hatticon on the border of Hauran.

Хамат, Берота, Сівраїм, що між границею Дамаску та між границею Хамату, середущий Хацар, що при границі Хаврану.

17 S o the boundary shall extend from the Sea to Hazar-enan, at the boundary of Damascus on the north, together with the boundary of Hamath to the north. This is the north side.

І буде границя від моря: Хацар-Енон, границя Дамаску на північ, і границя Хамату. Це північний кінець.

18 A nd on the east side you shall measure the boundary from between Hauran and Damascus, and Gilead on one side and the land of Israel on the other, with the Jordan forming the boundary down to the East or Dead Sea. And this is the east side.

А східній кінець, з-між Хаврану та з-між Дамаску, і з-між Ґілеаду та з-між Ізраїлевого краю Йордан; від границі аж до східнього моря відміряєте. Це східній кінець.

19 A nd the south side southward, from Tamar shall run as far as the waters of Meribath-kadesh, then along the Brook of Egypt to the Great or Mediterranean Sea. And this is the south side.

А південний кінець, на південь: від Тамару аж до води Мерівот-Кадешу, потоку, до Великого моря. Це південний кінець, на південь.

20 O n the west side shall be the Great or Mediterranean Sea to a point opposite the entrance of Hamath. This is the west side.

А західній кінець Велике море, від границі аж навпроти того, де йти на Хамат. Це західній кінець.

21 S o you shall divide this land among you according to the tribes of Israel.

І поділите цю землю собі, Ізраїлевим племенам.

22 Y ou shall divide it by allotment as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners who reside among you and shall have children born among you. They shall be to you as those born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall inherit with you among the tribes of Israel.

І станеться, поділите її жеребком на спадок собі та чужинцям, що мешкають серед вас, що породили синів серед вас, і стануть вам, як тубільці між синами Ізраїлевими; з вами вони кинуть жеребка про спадок серед Ізраїлевих племен.

23 I n whatever tribe the foreigner resides, there shall you give him his inheritance, says the Lord God.

І станеться, у тому племені, де мешкатиме з ним той чужинець, там дасте його спадок, говорить Господь Бог.
