1 T hen I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

Vi entonces a un ángel que descendía del cielo, con la llave del abismo y una gran cadena en su mano.

2 A nd he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

El ángel prendió al dragón, la serpiente antigua, que es el Diablo y Satanás, y lo ató por mil años.

3 a nd he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

Lo arrojó al abismo, y lo encerró y puso un sello sobre él para que no engañara más a las naciones, hasta que se cumplieran los mil años. Después de esto debe ser desatado por un poco de tiempo.

4 T hen I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

También vi tronos, y se sentaron sobre ellos los que se les concedió autoridad para juzgar. Y vi las almas de los que habían sido decapitados por causa del testimonio de Jesús y de la palabra de Dios, y a los que no habían adorado a la bestia ni a su imagen, ni habían recibido la marca sobre su frente ni sobre su mano. Volvieron a la vida y reinaron con Cristo por mil años.

5 T he rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

Esta es la primera resurrección. Los demás muertos no volvieron a la vida hasta que se cumplieron los mil años.

6 B lessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Satan Freed, Doomed

Bienaventurado y santo es el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección. La muerte segunda no tiene poder sobre éstos sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo, y reinarán con El por mil años. La Derrota de Satanás

7 W hen the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,

Cuando los mil años se cumplan, Satanás será soltado de su prisión,

8 a nd will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

y saldrá a engañar a las naciones que están en los cuatro extremos de la tierra, a Gog y a Magog, a fin de reunirlas para la batalla. El número de ellas es como la arena del mar.

9 A nd they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

Y subieron sobre la anchura de la tierra, rodearon el campamento de los santos y la ciudad amada. Pero descendió fuego del cielo y los devoró.

10 A nd the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Judgment at the Throne of God

Y el diablo que los engañaba fue arrojado al lago de fuego y azufre, donde también están la bestia y el falso profeta. Y serán atormentados día y noche por los siglos de los siglos. El Juicio ante el Trono Blanco

11 T hen I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

Vi un gran trono blanco y a Aquél que estaba sentado en él, de cuya presencia huyeron la tierra y el cielo, y no se halló lugar para ellos.

12 A nd I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

También vi a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie delante del trono, y los libros (rollos) fueron abiertos. Otro libro (rollo) fue abierto, que es el Libro de la Vida, y los muertos fueron juzgados por lo que estaba escrito en los libros (rollos), según sus obras.

13 A nd the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.

El mar entregó los muertos que estaban en él, y la Muerte y el Hades (la región de los muertos) entregaron a los muertos que estaban en ellos. Y fueron juzgados, cada uno según sus obras.

14 T hen death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

La Muerte y el Hades fueron arrojados al lago de fuego. Esta es la muerte segunda: el lago de fuego.

15 A nd if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Y el que no se encontraba inscrito en el Libro de la Vida fue arrojado al lago de fuego.
