1 G etting into a boat, Jesus crossed over the sea and came to His own city.

Subiendo Jesús en una barca, pasó al otro lado del mar y llegó a Su ciudad.

2 A nd they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, “ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.”

Y Le trajeron un paralítico echado en una camilla; y Jesús, viendo la fe de ellos, dijo al paralítico: “Anímate, hijo, tus pecados te son perdonados.”

3 A nd some of the scribes said to themselves, “This fellow blasphemes.”

Y algunos de los escribas decían para sí: “Este blasfema.”

4 A nd Jesus knowing their thoughts said, “Why are you thinking evil in your hearts?

Jesús, conociendo sus pensamientos, dijo: “¿Por qué piensan mal en sus corazones?

5 W hich is easier, to say, ‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk’?

Porque, ¿qué es más fácil, decir: ‘Tus pecados te son perdonados,’ o decir: ‘Levántate, y anda ’?

6 B ut so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” —then He said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.”

Pues para que sepan que el Hijo del Hombre tiene autoridad en la tierra para perdonar pecados,” entonces dijo al paralítico: “Levántate, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa.”

7 A nd he got up and went home.

Y levantándose, el paralítico se fue a su casa.

8 B ut when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men. Matthew Called

Pero cuando las multitudes vieron esto, sintieron temor, y glorificaron a Dios, que había dado tal poder (autoridad) a los hombres. Llamamiento de Mateo y la Cena en su Casa

9 A s Jesus went on from there, He saw a man called Matthew, sitting in the tax collector’s booth; and He said to him, “ Follow Me!” And he got up and followed Him.

Cuando Jesús se fue de allí, vio a un hombre llamado Mateo, sentado en la oficina de los tributos, y le dijo: “¡Ven tras Mí!” Y levantándose, Lo siguió.

10 T hen it happened that as Jesus was reclining at the table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were dining with Jesus and His disciples.

Y estando El sentado a la mesa en la casa, muchos recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores llegaron y se sentaron a la mesa con Jesús y Sus discípulos.

11 W hen the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, “ Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?”

Cuando los Fariseos vieron esto, dijeron a Sus discípulos: “¿Por qué come su Maestro con los recaudadores de impuestos y pecadores ?”

12 B ut when Jesus heard this, He said, “ It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.

Al oír Jesús esto, dijo: “Los que están sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los que están enfermos.

13 B ut go and learn what this means: ‘ I desire compassion, and not sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” The Question about Fasting

14 T hen the disciples of John came to Him, asking, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?”

Entonces los discípulos de Juan se acercaron a Jesús, diciendo: “¿Por qué nosotros y los Fariseos ayunamos, pero Tus discípulos no ayunan?”

15 A nd Jesus said to them, “The attendants of the bridegroom cannot mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.

Y Jesús les respondió: “¿Acaso los acompañantes del novio pueden estar de luto mientras el novio está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el novio les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán.

16 B ut no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear results.

Nadie pone un remiendo de tela nueva en un vestido viejo; porque el remiendo al encogerse tira del vestido y se produce una rotura peor.

17 N or do people put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” Miracles of Healing

18 W hile He was saying these things to them, a synagogue official came and bowed down before Him, and said, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live.”

Mientras Jesús les decía estas cosas, vino un oficial de la sinagoga y se postró delante de El, diciendo: “Mi hija acaba de morir; pero ven y pon Tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá.”

19 J esus got up and began to follow him, and so did His disciples.

Levantándose Jesús, lo siguió, y también Sus discípulos.

20 A nd a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years, came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak;

Y una mujer que había estado sufriendo de flujo de sangre por doce años, se Le acercó por detrás y tocó el borde de Su manto;

21 f or she was saying to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will get well.”

pues decía para sí: “Si tan sólo toco Su manto, sanaré.”

22 B ut Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.” At once the woman was made well.

Pero Jesús, volviéndose y viéndola, dijo: “Hija, ten ánimo, tu fe te ha sanado.” Y al instante la mujer quedó sana.

23 W hen Jesus came into the official’s house, and saw the flute-players and the crowd in noisy disorder,

Cuando Jesús entró en la casa del oficial, y vio a los flautistas y al gentío en ruidoso desorden,

24 H e said, “Leave; for the girl has not died, but is asleep.” And they began laughing at Him.

les dijo: “Retírense, porque la niña no ha muerto, sino que está dormida.” Y se burlaban de El.

25 B ut when the crowd had been sent out, He entered and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

Pero cuando habían echado fuera a la gente, El entró y la tomó de la mano; y la niña se levantó.

26 T his news spread throughout all that land.

Y esta noticia (fama) se difundió por toda aquella tierra. Curación de dos Ciegos y un Mudo

27 A s Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

Al irse Jesús de allí, dos ciegos Lo siguieron, gritando: “¡Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros!”

28 W hen He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

Después de entrar en la casa, se acercaron a El los ciegos, y Jesús les dijo: “¿Creen que puedo hacer esto?” “Sí, Señor,” Le respondieron.

29 T hen He touched their eyes, saying, “ It shall be done to you according to your faith.”

Entonces les tocó los ojos, diciendo: “Hágase en ustedes según su fe.”

30 A nd their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: “See that no one knows about this!”

Y se les abrieron los ojos. Y Jesús les advirtió rigurosamente: “Miren que nadie lo sepa.”

31 B ut they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land.

Pero ellos, en cuanto salieron, divulgaron Su fama por toda aquella tierra.

32 A s they were going out, a mute, demon-possessed man was brought to Him.

Al salir ellos de allí, Le trajeron un mudo endemoniado.

33 A fter the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “ Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

Después que el demonio había sido expulsado, el mudo habló; y las multitudes se maravillaban, y decían: “Jamás se ha visto cosa igual en Israel.”

34 B ut the Pharisees were saying, “He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons.”

Pero los Fariseos decían: “El echa fuera los demonios por el príncipe de los demonios.” Ministerio de Jesús

35 J esus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

Jesús recorría todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, proclamando el evangelio del reino y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia.

36 S eeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.

Y viendo las multitudes, tuvo compasión de ellas, porque estaban angustiadas y abatidas como ovejas que no tienen pastor.

37 T hen He said to His disciples, “ The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Entonces dijo a Sus discípulos: “La cosecha es mucha, pero los obreros pocos.

38 T herefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Por tanto, pidan al Señor de la cosecha que envíe obreros a Su cosecha.”
