1 O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.

Vengan, cantemos con gozo al Señor, Aclamemos con júbilo a la roca de nuestra salvación.

2 L et us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

Vengamos ante Su presencia con acción de gracias; Aclamemos a El con salmos.

3 F or the Lord is a great God And a great King above all gods,

Porque Dios grande es el Señor, Y Rey grande sobre todos los dioses,

4 I n whose hand are the depths of the earth, The peaks of the mountains are His also.

En cuya mano están las profundidades de la tierra; Suyas son también las cumbres de los montes.

5 T he sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.

Suyo es el mar, pues El lo hizo, Y Sus manos formaron la tierra firme.

6 C ome, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

Vengan, adoremos y postrémonos; Doblemos la rodilla ante el Señor nuestro Hacedor.

7 F or He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you would hear His voice,

Porque El es nuestro Dios, Y nosotros el pueblo de Su prado y las ovejas de Su mano. Si ustedes oyen hoy Su voz,

8 D o not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

No endurezcan su corazón como en Meriba, Como en el día de Masah en el desierto,

9 “ When your fathers tested Me, They tried Me, though they had seen My work.

Cuando sus padres Me tentaron, Me pusieron a prueba, aunque habían visto Mi obra.

10 “ For forty years I loathed that generation, And said they are a people who err in their heart, And they do not know My ways.

Por cuarenta años Me repugnó aquella generación, Y dije: “Es un pueblo que se desvía en su corazón Y no conocen Mis caminos.

11 “ Therefore I swore in My anger, Truly they shall not enter into My rest.”

Por tanto, juré en Mi ira: Ciertamente no entrarán en Mi reposo.”
