1 P raise Yah! Praise Yahweh from the heavens! Praise him in the heights!

¡Alabado sea el Señor desde los cielos! ¡Alabado sea el Señor en las alturas!

2 P raise him, all his angels! Praise him, all his army!

¡Que alaben al Señor todos sus ángeles! ¡Que alaben al Señor todos sus ejércitos!

3 P raise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars!

¡Que alaben al Señor el sol y la luna! Que alaben al Señor las estrellas refulgentes!

4 P raise him, you heavens of heavens, You waters that are above the heavens.

¡Que alaben al Señor los cielos de los cielos, y las aguas que están sobre los cielos!

5 L et them praise Yahweh’s name, For he commanded, and they were created.

¡Alabado sea el nombre del Señor! El Señor dio una orden, y todo fue creado.

6 H e has also established them forever and ever. He has made a decree which will not pass away.

Todo quedó para siempre en su lugar; el Señor dio una orden que no se debe alterar.

7 P raise Yahweh from the earth, you great sea creatures, and all depths!

Que alaben al Señor, desde la tierra, los monstruos marinos y el mar profundo;

8 L ightning and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

el fuego y el granizo, la nieve y el rocío, y el viento tempestuoso que ejecuta su palabra;

9 m ountains and all hills; fruit trees and all cedars;

los montes y las colinas, los árboles frutales y los cedros,

10 w ild animals and all livestock; small creatures and flying birds;

los animales salvajes y los domésticos, los reptiles y los pájaros,

11 k ings of the earth and all peoples; princes and all judges of the earth;

los reyes de la tierra y todos los pueblos, todos los jefes y gobernantes de la tierra,

12 b oth young men and maidens; old men and children:

los jóvenes y las doncellas, los ancianos y los niños.

13 l et them praise Yahweh’s name, for his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

¡Alabado sea el nombre del Señor! ¡Sólo su nombre merece ser exaltado! ¡Su gloria domina los cielos y la tierra!

14 H e has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise Yah!

¡Que alaben al Señor todos sus fieles! ¡Que lo alabe Israel, su pueblo cercano! ¡El Señor ha dado poder a su pueblo! ¡Aleluya!
