1 Y ahweh called to Moses, and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,

El Señor llamó a Moisés desde el tabernáculo de reunión, y habló con él. Le dijo:

2 “ Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When anyone of you offers an offering to Yahweh, you shall offer your offering of the livestock, from the herd and from the flock.

«Habla con los hijos de Israel y diles: “Cuando alguno de ustedes presente una ofrenda al Señor, la presentará de su ganado vacuno u ovejuno.

3 “ ‘If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.

”Si su ofrenda es un holocausto vacuno, ofrecerá de manera voluntaria un macho sin defecto. Lo ofrecerá delante del Señor, a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

4 H e shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del holocausto, y le será aceptado para expiación suya.

5 H e shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.

Entonces degollará el becerro en presencia del Señor, y la rociarán alrededor y sobre el altar que está a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

6 H e shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

Luego desollará el holocausto y lo cortará en pedazos.

7 T he sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;

Entonces los hijos del sacerdote Aarón pondrán fuego sobre el altar, y compondrán la leña sobre el fuego.

8 a nd Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;

Luego los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón acomodarán las piezas, la cabeza y la grasa de los intestinos, sobre la leña que estará sobre el fuego, encima del altar,

9 b ut its innards and its legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall burn all of it on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

y enjuagarán los intestinos y las piernas, y el sacerdote quemará todo esto sobre el altar. Se trata de un holocausto. Es una ofrenda encendida de olor grato para el Señor.

10 “ ‘If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep, or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.

”Si su ofrenda para el holocausto la toma del rebaño de las ovejas o de las cabras, deberá ofrecer un macho sin ningún defecto,

11 H e shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.

y degollarlo delante del Señor, al lado norte del altar. Los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón rociarán su sangre sobre el altar y alrededor de éste.

12 H e shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,

Lo cortarán en trozos, junto con la cabeza y la grasa de los intestinos, y el sacerdote acomodará todo ello sobre la leña que arde sobre el altar;

13 b ut the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

enjuagará las entrañas y las piernas, y el sacerdote lo ofrecerá todo y lo dejará arder sobre el altar. Se trata de un holocausto, de una ofrenda encendida de olor grato para el Señor.

14 “ ‘If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves or of young pigeons.

”Si la ofrenda para el Señor es un holocausto de aves, su ofrenda será de tórtolas o de palominos.

15 T he priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;

El sacerdote la ofrecerá sobre el altar, y le quitará la cabeza y hará que arda en el altar, y exprimirá su sangre sobre la pared del altar.

16 a nd he shall take away its crop with its filth, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.

Le quitará el buche y las plumas, las cuales echará hacia el oriente, junto al altar, en el lugar de las cenizas.

17 H e shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

Partirá el ave por las alas, pero no en dos, y la dejará que se queme sobre el altar, sobre la leña que estará en el fuego. Es un holocausto. Es una ofrenda encendida de olor grato para el Señor.
