1 ¶ O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things; his right hand has gotten him the victory, even the arm of his holiness.

«Salmo» Cantate all'Eterno un canto nuovo, perché ha fatto meraviglie; la sua destra e il suo santo braccio gli hanno ottenuto salvezza.

2 T he LORD has made known his saving health; he has openly showed his righteousness in the sight of the Gentiles.

L'Eterno ha fatto conoscere la sua salvezza e ha manifestato la sua giustizia davanti alle nazioni.

3 H e has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the saving health of our God.

Egli si è ricordato della sua benignità e della sua fedeltà per la casa d'Israele; tutte le estremità della terra hanno visto la salvezza del nostro DIO.

4 ¶ Sing with joy unto the LORD, all the earth; lift up thy voice and rejoice and sing praises.

Mandate grida di gioia all'Eterno, o abitanti di tutta la terra; prorompete in canti di gioia, rallegratevi e cantate lodi.

5 S ing praises unto the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the voice of a song.

Cantate lodi all'Eterno con la cetra, con la cetra e con la voce del canto.

6 W ith trumpets and the sound of the shofar make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

Mandate grida di gioia con le trombe e il suono del corno davanti all'Eterno, il Re.

7 L et the sea roar and the fullness thereof, the world and those that dwell therein.

Rumoreggi il mare e tutto ciò che è in esso, il mondo e i suoi abitanti.

8 L et the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains be joyful together

l fiumi battano le mani e i monti esultino insieme di gioia davanti all'Eterno,

9 b efore the LORD; for he has come to judge the earth; with righteousness he shall judge the world and the peoples with equity.

poiché egli viene a giudicare la terra; egli giudicherà il mondo con giustizia e i popoli con equità.
