Beautiful in elevation, The joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

3 N ei suoi palazzi DIO si è fatto conoscere come una fortezza inespugnabile.

God is in her palaces; He is known as her refuge.

We have thought, O God, on Your lovingkindness, In the midst of Your temple.

10 C ome il tuo nome, o DIO, cosí la tua lode giunge all'estremità della terra, la tua destra è piena di giustizia.

According to Your name, O God, So is Your praise to the ends of the earth; Your right hand is full of righteousness.

11 S i rallegri il monte Sion, esultino le figlie di Giuda per i tuoi giudizi.

Let Mount Zion rejoice, Let the daughters of Judah be glad, Because of Your judgments.

12 F ate il giro di Sion, visitatela, contate le sue torri,

Walk about Zion, And go all around her. Count her towers;

13 o sservate i suoi bastioni, ammirate i suoi palazzi, affinché possiate raccontarlo alla generazione futura.

Mark well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces; That you may tell it to the generation following.

14 P oiché questo DIO è il nostro DIO in eterno, sempre; egli sarà la nostra guida fino alla morte.

For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death.
