1 I l Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 « Il primo giorno del primo mese erigerai il tabernacolo, la tenda di convegno.

In the day of the first month, the first of the month shalt thou set up the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony.

3 V i porrai l’arca della testimonianza e stenderai il velo davanti all’arca.

And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony and cover the ark with the veil.

4 V i porterai dentro la tavola, e disporrai in ordine le cose che vi sono sopra; vi porterai pure il candelabro e accenderai le sue lampade.

And thou shalt bring in the table and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it, and thou shalt bring in the lampstand and light its lamps.

5 P orrai l’altare d’oro per l’incenso davanti all’arca della testimonianza e metterai la portiera all’ingresso del tabernacolo.

And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

6 P orrai l’altare degli olocausti davanti all’ingresso del tabernacolo, della tenda di convegno.

Then thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle, of the tabernacle of the testimony.

7 M etterai la conca fra la tenda di convegno e l’altare, e vi metterai dentro dell’acqua.

And thou shalt set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar and shalt put water therein.

8 D isporrai il cortile tutto intorno e attaccherai la portiera all’ingresso del cortile.

Last, thou shalt set up the court round about and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

9 P oi prenderai l’olio dell’unzione e ungerai il tabernacolo e tutto ciò che vi è dentro, lo consacrerai con tutti i suoi utensili e sarà santo.

And thou shalt take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it and shalt sanctify it with all its vessels, and it shall be holy.

10 U ngerai pure l’altare degli olocausti e tutti i suoi utensili, consacrerai l’altare, e l’altare sarà santissimo.

And thou shalt also anoint the altar of the burnt offering and all its vessels and sanctify the altar, and it shall be an altar most holy.

11 U ngerai anche la conca con la sua base e la consacrerai.

In the same manner thou shalt anoint the laver and its base and sanctify it.

12 P oi farai accostare Aaronne e i suoi figli all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, e li laverai con acqua.

And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the testimony and wash them with water.

13 R ivestirai Aaronne dei paramenti sacri, lo ungerai e lo consacrerai, perché mi serva come sacerdote.

And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments and anoint him and sanctify him, that he may be my priest.

14 F arai pure avvicinare i suoi figli, li rivestirai di tuniche

And thou shalt bring his sons and clothe them with coats.

15 e li ungerai come avrai unto il loro padre, perché mi servano come sacerdoti; e la loro unzione conferirà loro un sacerdozio perenne, di generazione in generazione».

And thou shalt anoint them as thou didst anoint their father, and they shall be my priests; and it shall be that their anointing shall be unto them for a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations.

16 M osè fece così; fece interamente come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.

¶ Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.

17 I l primo giorno del primo mese del secondo anno, il tabernacolo fu eretto.

And it came to pass in the first month in the second year on the first day of the month that the tabernacle was raised up.

18 M osè eresse il tabernacolo, ne pose le basi, ne collocò le assi, ne mise le traverse e ne rizzò le colonne.

And Moses caused the tabernacle to be raised up and fastened its sockets and set up its boards and put in its bars and caused its pillars to be raised up.

19 S tese la tenda sul tabernacolo e sopra la tenda pose la coperta di essa, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent above upon it, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

20 P oi prese la Testimonianza e la pose dentro l’arca, mise le stanghe all’arca e collocò il propiziatorio sull’arca;

And he took and put the testimony into the ark and set the staves on the ark and put the seat of reconciliation upon the ark above,

21 p ortò l’arca nel tabernacolo, sospese il velo di separazione e con esso coprì l’arca della testimonianza, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

and he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the curtain and covered the ark of the testimony, as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 P ose pure la tavola nella tenda di convegno, dal lato settentrionale del tabernacolo, fuori dal velo.

And he put the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, upon the side of the Aquilon of the tabernacle, outside the veil.

23 V i dispose sopra in ordine il pane, davanti al Signore, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

24 P oi mise il candelabro nella tenda di convegno, di fronte alla tavola, dal lato meridionale del tabernacolo;

And he put the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, over against the table, on the side of the Negev of the tabernacle.

25 a ccese le lampade davanti al Signore, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

And he lighted the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

26 P oi mise l’altare d’oro nella tenda di convegno, davanti al velo,

He also put the golden altar in the tabernacle of the testimony before the veil.

27 e vi bruciò sopra l’incenso aromatico, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

And he burnt aromatic incense on it, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

28 M ise pure la portiera all’ingresso del tabernacolo.

In the same manner he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

29 P oi collocò l’altare degli olocausti all’ingresso del tabernacolo, della tenda di convegno e vi offrì, sopra, l’olocausto e l’oblazione, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle, of the tabernacle of the testimony, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the present, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

30 P ose la conca fra la tenda di convegno e l’altare, e vi pose dentro dell’acqua per le abluzioni.

And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar and put water in it, to wash with.

31 M osè, Aaronne e i suoi figli, con quell’acqua, si lavarono le mani e i piedi;

And Moses and Aaron and his sons would wash their hands and their feet in it.

32 q uando entravano nella tenda di convegno e quando si avvicinavano all’altare, si lavavano, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

When they would enter into the tabernacle of the testimony and when they would come near unto the altar, they washed themselves, as the LORD had commanded Moses.

33 E resse pure il recinto intorno al tabernacolo e all’altare e sospese la cortina all’ingresso del cortile. Così Mosè completò l’opera. La gloria del Signore sul tabernacolo

Last he raised up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar and set up the hanging of the court gate. Thus Moses finished the work.

34 A llora la nuvola coprì la tenda di convegno, e la gloria del Signore riempì il tabernacolo.

¶ Then a cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

35 E Mosè non potè entrare nella tenda di convegno perché la nuvola si era posata sopra, e la gloria del Signore riempiva il tabernacolo.

And Moses was not able to enter into the tabernacle of the testimony because the cloud was upon it, and the glory of the LORD had it full.

36 D urante tutti i loro viaggi, quando la nuvola si alzava dal tabernacolo, i figli d’Israele partivano;

And when the cloud lifted itself up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel went onward in all their journeys;

37 m a se la nuvola non si alzava, non partivano fino al giorno in cui si alzava.

but if the cloud did not lift itself up, then they did not journey until the day that it lifted itself up.

38 L a nuvola del Signore infatti stava sul tabernacolo di giorno; e di notte vi stava un fuoco visibile a tutta la casa d’Israele durante tutti i loro viaggi.

For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and the fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
