1 D i Davide. Fammi giustizia, o Signore, perché io cammino nell’integrità e confido nel Signore senza vacillare.

¶ Judge me, O LORD, for I have walked in my integrity; I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

2 S crutami, o Signore, e mettimi alla prova; purifica le miei reni e il mio cuore.

Examine me, O LORD and prove me; melt my kidneys and my heart.

3 P oiché ho davanti agli occhi la tua benevolenza e cammino nella tua verità.

For thy mercy is before my eyes, and I walk in thy truth.

4 I o non siedo in compagnia di uomini bugiardi, non vado con gente ipocrita.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with hypocrites.

5 D etesto l’assemblea dei malvagi, non vado a sedermi tra gli empi.

I have hated the congregation of evil doers and will not sit with the wicked.

6 L avo le mie mani nell’innocenza e così faccio il giro del tuo altare, o Signore,

¶ I will wash my hands in innocency, so I will walk near unto thine altar, O LORD:

7 p er far risuonare voci di lode, per raccontare tutte le tue meraviglie.

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works.

8 O Signore, io amo trattenermi nella tua casa, nel luogo dove risiede la tua gloria.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house and the place of the tabernacle of thy glory.

9 N on mettermi in un fascio con i peccatori, non associarmi agli uomini sanguinari,

Gather not my soul with the sinners, nor my life with those who have blood on their hands:

10 n elle cui mani è scelleratezza e la cui destra è colma di regali corruttori.

In whose hands are wicked devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11 Q uanto a me, io cammino nella mia integrità; liberami, abbi pietà di me.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; ransom me and be merciful unto me.

12 I l mio piede sta fermo in luogo piano. Nelle assemblee io benedirò il Signore.

I have walked uprightly; in the congregations I will bless the LORD.
