3 D ein Weib wird sein wie ein fruchtbarer Weinstock drinnen in deinem Hause, deine Kinder wie Ölzweige um deinen Tisch her.

Thy wife as a fruitful vine in the sides of thy house, Thy sons as olive plants around thy table.

4 S iehe, also wird gesegnet der Mann, der den HERRN fürchtet.

Lo, surely thus is the man blessed who is fearing Jehovah.

5 D er HERR wird dich segnen aus Zion, daß du sehest das Glück Jerusalems dein Leben lang

Jehovah doth bless thee out of Zion, Look, then, on the good of Jerusalem, All the days of thy life,

6 u nd sehest deiner Kinder Kinder. Friede über Israel!

And see the sons of thy sons! Peace on Israel!
