1 E ntonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo:

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2 E l primer día del mes primero levantarás el tabernáculo de la tienda de reunión.

“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

3 P ondrás allí el arca del testimonio y cubrirás el arca con el velo.

You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.

4 Y meterás la mesa, y pondrás en orden lo que va sobre ella; meterás también el candelabro y colocarás encima sus lámparas.

You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lamp stand, and light its lamps.

5 A simismo pondrás el altar de oro para el incienso delante del arca del testimonio, y colocarás la cortina a la entrada del tabernáculo.

You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

6 Y pondrás el altar del holocausto delante de la entrada del tabernáculo de la tienda de reunión.

“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

7 D espués colocarás la pila entre la tienda de reunión y el altar, y pondrás agua en ella.

You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.

8 P ondrás el atrio alrededor y colgarás el velo a la entrada del atrio.

You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.

9 L uego tomarás el aceite de la unción, y ungirás el tabernáculo y todo lo que hay en él; y lo consagrarás con todos sus utensilios, y será santo.

“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.

10 U ngirás además el altar del holocausto y todos sus utensilios; y consagrarás el altar, y el altar será santísimo.

You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.

11 U ngirás también la pila con su base, y la consagrarás.

You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.

12 E ntonces harás que Aarón y sus hijos se acerquen a la entrada de la tienda de reunión, y los lavarás con agua.

“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

13 Y vestirás a Aarón con las vestiduras sagradas, lo ungirás y lo consagrarás para que me sirva como sacerdote.

You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

14 T ambién harás que sus hijos se acerquen y les pondrás las túnicas;

You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.

15 y los ungirás, como ungiste a su padre, para que me sirvan como sacerdotes; y su unción les servirá para sacerdocio perpetuo por todas sus generaciones.

You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

16 Y Moisés hizo conforme a todo lo que el Señor le había mandado; así lo hizo.

Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did.

17 Y aconteció que en el primer mes del año segundo, el día primero del mes, el tabernáculo fue levantado.

In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.

18 M oisés levantó el tabernáculo y puso sus basas, colocó sus tablas, metió sus barras y erigió sus columnas.

Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.

19 Y extendió la tienda sobre el tabernáculo y puso la cubierta de la tienda arriba, sobre él, tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.

He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

20 E ntonces tomó el testimonio y lo puso en el arca, colocó las varas en el arca y puso el propiciatorio arriba, sobre el arca.

He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.

21 Y metió el arca en el tabernáculo y puso un velo por cortina y cubrió el arca del testimonio, tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.

He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

22 P uso también la mesa en la tienda de reunión, en el lado norte del tabernáculo, fuera del velo;

He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.

23 y puso en orden sobre ella los panes delante del Señor, tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.

He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

24 E ntonces colocó el candelabro en la tienda de reunión, frente a la mesa, en el lado sur del tabernáculo,

He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25 y encendió las lámparas delante del Señor, tal como el Señor había mandado a Moisés.

He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

26 L uego colocó el altar de oro en la tienda de reunión, delante del velo;

He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

27 y quemó en él incienso aromático, tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.

and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

28 D espués colocó la cortina para la entrada del tabernáculo,

He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

29 y puso el altar del holocausto delante de la entrada del tabernáculo de la tienda de reunión, y ofreció sobre él el holocausto y la ofrenda de cereal, tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.

He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

30 P uso la pila entre la tienda de reunión y el altar, y puso en ella agua para las abluciones,

He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

31 y con ella Moisés, Aarón y sus hijos se lavaban las manos y los pies.

Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

32 C uando entraban en la tienda de reunión y cuando se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.

When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

33 Y Moisés levantó el atrio alrededor del tabernáculo y del altar, y colgó la cortina para la entrada del atrio. Así acabó Moisés la obra. La nube sobre el tabernáculo

He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

34 E ntonces la nube cubrió la tienda de reunión y la gloria del Señor llenó el tabernáculo.

Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

35 Y Moisés no podía entrar en la tienda de reunión porque la nube estaba sobre ella y la gloria del Señor llenaba el tabernáculo.

Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

36 Y en todas sus jornadas cuando la nube se alzaba de sobre el tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel se ponían en marcha;

When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;

37 p ero si la nube no se alzaba, ellos no se ponían en marcha hasta el día en que se alzaba.

but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.

38 P orque la nube del Señor estaba de día sobre el tabernáculo, y de noche había fuego allí a la vista de toda la casa de Israel en todas sus jornadas.

For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
