1 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2 « El primer día del mes primero harás que se levante el tabernáculo de reunión,

“On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

3 y en él pondrás el arca del testimonio, y la cubrirás con el velo.

You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.

4 M eterás la mesa, y la pondrás en orden; meterás también el candelero, y encenderás sus lámparas;

You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lamp stand, and light its lamps.

5 p ondrás el altar de oro para el incienso delante del arca del testimonio, y pondrás la cortina frente a la entrada del tabernáculo.

You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

6 D espués pondrás el altar del holocausto frente a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión.

“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.

7 L uego pondrás la fuente entre el tabernáculo de reunión y el altar, y en ella pondrás agua.

You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.

8 F inalmente, pondrás el atrio alrededor, y la cortina a la entrada del atrio.

You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.

9 T omarás entonces el aceite de la unción, y ungirás el tabernáculo y todo lo que está en él; y lo santificarás con todos sus utensilios, y será santo.

“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.

10 U ngirás también el altar del holocausto y todos sus utensilios, y santificarás el altar, y será un altar santísimo.

You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.

11 D e igual manera, ungirás la fuente y su base, y la santificarás.

You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.

12 L uego llevarás a Aarón y a sus hijos a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, y los lavarás con agua;

“You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.

13 h arás que Aarón se ponga las vestiduras sagradas, y lo ungirás y consagrarás, para que sea mi sacerdote.

You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

14 D espués harás que se acerquen sus hijos, y les vestirás las túnicas

You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.

15 y los ungirás, como ungiste a su padre. Así serán mis sacerdotes, y su unción les servirá por sacerdocio perpetuo, por todas las generaciones.»

You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

16 M oisés hizo todo conforme a lo que el Señor le había mandado hacer.

Moses did so. According to all that Yahweh commanded him, so he did.

17 A sí, el tabernáculo fue erigido en el día primero del primer mes del segundo año.

In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.

18 M oisés ordenó levantar el tabernáculo, asentó sus bases, colocó sus tablas, puso sus travesaños, e hizo que se levantaran sus columnas.

Moses raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.

19 L evantó la tienda sobre el tabernáculo, y encima del mismo puso la sobrecubierta, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

20 L uego Moisés tomó el testimonio y lo puso dentro del arca, y colocó las varas en el arca, y sobre el arca puso el propiciatorio.

He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.

21 M etió el arca en el tabernáculo, extendió el velo, y ocultó el arca del testimonio, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

22 E n el lado norte de la cortina, fuera del velo, Moisés puso la mesa en el tabernáculo de reunión,

He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.

23 y sobre ella puso por orden los panes delante del Señor, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

He set the bread in order on it before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

24 E n el lado sur de la cortina, en el tabernáculo de reunión, frente a la mesa, Moisés puso el candelero,

He put the lamp stand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25 y encendió las lámparas delante del Señor, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

26 M oisés puso también el altar de oro en el tabernáculo de reunión, delante del velo,

He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;

27 y sobre él quemó incienso aromático, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

28 M oisés puso también la cortina a la entrada del tabernáculo,

He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

29 y colocó el altar del holocausto a la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión, y sacrificó sobre él holocausto y ofrenda, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado.

He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

30 M oisés puso la fuente entre el tabernáculo de reunión y el altar, y en ella puso agua para lavarse.

He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.

31 Y Moisés y Aarón y sus hijos se lavaban en ella las manos y los pies.

Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

32 C uando entraban en el tabernáculo de reunión, y cuando se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, tal y como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.

When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

33 F inalmente, Moisés erigió el atrio alrededor del tabernáculo y del altar, y puso la cortina a la entrada del atrio. Así concluyó Moisés la obra. La nube sobre el tabernáculo

He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

34 E ntonces una nube cubrió el tabernáculo de reunión, y la gloria del Señor llenó el tabernáculo.

Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

35 M oisés no podía entrar en el tabernáculo de reunión porque la nube estaba sobre él y la gloria del Señor lo llenaba.

Moses wasn’t able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Yahweh’s glory filled the tabernacle.

36 C uando la nube se elevaba del tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel se movían en todas sus jornadas;

When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;

37 p ero si la nube no se elevaba, ellos no se movían hasta que ella lo hiciera.

but if the cloud wasn’t taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.

38 Y es que la nube del Señor estaba sobre el tabernáculo durante el día, y durante la noche el fuego estaba sobre él, a la vista de todo el pueblo de Israel, en todas sus jornadas.

For the cloud of Yahweh was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
