Praise Yah! Praise, you servants of Yahweh, praise Yahweh’s name.

Blessed be Yahweh’s name, from this time forward and forever more.

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, Yahweh’s name is to be praised.

4 E l Señor está por encima de todas las naciones; ¡su gloria sobrepasa las alturas de los cielos!

Yahweh is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.

5 ¿ Quién como el Señor nuestro Dios? El Señor tiene su trono en las alturas,

Who is like Yahweh, our God, who has his seat on high,

6 p ero se digna inclinarse para ver lo que ocurre en el cielo y en la tierra.

Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?

7 E l Señor levanta de la nada al pobre, y saca del muladar al pordiosero,

He raises up the poor out of the dust. Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;

8 p ara darles a los dos un lugar entre los príncipes, entre los gobernantes de su pueblo.

that he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.

9 E l Señor concede a la mujer estéril un hogar y la alegría de tener hijos. ¡Aleluya!

He settles the barren woman in her home, as a joyful mother of children. Praise Yah!
