He brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits wide on the one side, and six cubits wide on the other side, which was the width of the tent.

2 L a puerta medía diez codos de ancho, y los costados de la puerta medían cinco codos de un lado y cinco codos del otro. Luego midió su longitud, que era de cuarenta codos, y su anchura era de veinte codos.

The width of the entrance was ten cubits; and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured its length, forty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits.

3 P asó entonces al interior y midió cada poste de la puerta, y medían dos codos; la puerta medía seis codos, y la entrada medía siete codos de ancho.

Then went he inward, and measured each post of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the width of the entrance, seven cubits.

4 L uego midió el frente del edificio, y medía veinte codos de largo y veinte codos de ancho. Entonces me dijo: «Éste es el lugar santísimo.»

He measured its length, twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said to me, This is the most holy place.

5 D espués midió la muralla del templo, y tenía seis codos de ancho, y las cámaras alrededor del templo medían cuatro codos de ancho.

Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the width of every side room, four cubits, all around the house on every side.

6 L as cámaras laterales estaban sobrepuestas, y había treinta cámaras en cada uno de los tres pisos. En la pared alrededor del templo había modillones, sobre los que descansaban las cámaras, para que no descansaran sobre la pared del templo.

The side rooms were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side rooms all around, that they might be supported, and not penetrate the wall of the house.

7 E n su parte superior las cámaras eran más anchas; la escalera de caracol del templo iba ascendiendo por dentro del templo, de modo que en la parte alta el templo era más ancho. Del piso inferior se podía ascender al piso de en medio, y de éste al superior.

The side rooms were wider on the higher levels, because the walls were narrower at the higher levels. Therefore the width of the house increased upward; and so one went up from the lowest level to the highest through the middle level.

8 Y o miré la altura alrededor del templo, y los cimientos de las cámaras medían lo que una caña entera, es decir, tres metros de largo.

I saw also that the house had a raised base all around: the foundations of the side rooms were a full reed of six great cubits.

9 E l ancho de la pared exterior de las cámaras medía lo mismo que el espacio interior de las cámaras del templo, es decir, dos y medio metros.

The thickness of the wall, which was for the side rooms, on the outside, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side rooms that belonged to the house.

10 E l espacio entre las cámaras que rodeaban el templo era de diez metros.

Between the rooms was a width of twenty cubits around the house on every side.

11 L a puerta de cada cámara salía al espacio libre, una puerta hacia el norte y otra puerta hacia el sur, y el espacio que quedaba alrededor era de dos y medio metros de ancho.

The doors of the side rooms were toward an open area that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south. The width of the open area was five cubits all around.

12 E l edificio que daba al occidente, delante del espacio abierto, medía treinta y cinco metros, y la pared que rodeaba el edificio tenía dos y medio metros de espesor y medía cuarenta y cinco metros de largo.

The building that was before the separate place at the side toward the west was seventy cubits wide; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length ninety cubits.

13 L uego el hombre midió el templo, y tenía cincuenta metros de largo, y el espacio abierto y el edificio y sus paredes medían también cincuenta metros de largo.

So he measured the house, one hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with its walls, one hundred cubits long;

14 E l frente del templo, y el espacio abierto que daba hacia el oriente, medía cincuenta metros de ancho.

also the width of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, one hundred cubits.

15 E l hombre midió la longitud del edificio que estaba frente al espacio abierto que había detrás de él, lo mismo que las cámaras de uno y otro lado, y el templo interior y los portales del atrio, y medían cincuenta metros.

He measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at its back, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, one hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

16 L os umbrales, las ventanas estrechas, y las cámaras alrededor de los tres pisos estaban totalmente recubiertos de madera.

the thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries around on their three stories, over against the threshold, with wood ceilings all around, and from the ground up to the windows, (now the windows were covered),

17 E l hombre tomó medidas por encima de la puerta, y hasta el recinto interior, y también por dentro y por fuera y alrededor de toda la pared.

to the space above the door, even to the inner house, and outside, and by all the wall all around inside and outside, by measure.

18 É sta tenía labrados querubines, y entre querubín y querubín había una palmera, y cada querubín tenía dos rostros;

It was made with cherubim and palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;

19 h acia la palmera de un lado el rostro era el de un hombre, y hacia la palmera del otro lado el rostro era el de un león. Esto era así alrededor de todo el templo.

so that there was the face of a man toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side. It was made like this through all the house all around:

20 D esde el suelo hasta la parte superior de la puerta, y por toda la pared del templo, había querubines labrados y palmeras.

from the ground to above the door were cherubim and palm trees made: thus was the wall of the temple.

21 C ada poste del templo era cuadrado, y el frente del santuario era semejante al del otro frente.

As for the temple, the door posts were squared; and as for the face of the sanctuary, its appearance was as the appearance of the temple.

22 E l altar de madera medía un metro y medio de alto y un metro de largo, y sus esquinas, su superficie y sus paredes eran de madera. Entonces el hombre me dijo: «Ésta es la mesa que está delante del Señor.»

The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length two cubits; and its corners, and its length, and its walls, were of wood: and he said to me, This is the table that is before Yahweh.

23 E l templo y el santuario tenían dos puertas.

The temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

24 E n cada una de las puertas del templo había dos hojas que giraban.

The doors had two leaves each, two turning leaves: two for the one door, and two leaves for the other.

25 L as puertas tenían querubines y palmeras labrados, semejantes a los que había en las paredes, y en la fachada del atrio, por la parte exterior, había un portal de madera.

There were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm trees, like as were made on the walls; and there was a threshold of wood on the face of the porch outside.

26 E n los costados del pórtico, a uno y otro lado, había ventanas estrechas y palmeras. Así eran las cámaras del templo y los umbrales.

There were closed windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch: thus were the side rooms of the house, and the thresholds.
