1 T ransgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart. There is no fear or dread of God before his eyes.

La rebelión del impío me dice al corazón: No hay temor de Dios delante de sus ojos.

2 F or he flatters and deceives himself in his own eyes that his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

Se lisonjea, por tanto, en sus propios ojos, hasta que su iniquidad sea hallada aborrecible.

3 T he words of his mouth are wrong and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and to do good.

Las palabras de su boca son iniquidad y fraude; no quiso entender para bien hacer.

4 H e plans wrongdoing on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject or despise evil.

Iniquidad piensa sobre su cama; está en camino no bueno, no aborrece el mal.

5 Y our mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, extend to the skies, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.

¶ SEÑOR, hasta los cielos es tu misericordia; tu verdad hasta las nubes.

6 Y our righteousness is like the mountains of God, Your judgments are like the great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast.

Tu justicia como los montes de Dios, tus juicios abismo grande: Oh SEÑOR, al hombre y al animal conservas.

7 H ow precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge and put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

¡Cuán ilustre, oh Dios, es tu misericordia! Por eso los hijos de Adán se abrigan en la sombra de tus alas.

8 T hey relish and feast on the abundance of Your house; and You cause them to drink of the stream of Your pleasures.

Se embriagarán de la grosura de tu Casa; y tú los abrevarás del torrente de tus delicias.

9 F or with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light.

Porque contigo está el manantial de la vida; en tu luz veremos la luz.

10 O continue Your loving-kindness to those who know You, Your righteousness (salvation) to the upright in heart.

Extiende tu misericordia a los que te conocen, y tu justicia a los rectos de corazón.

11 L et not the foot of pride overtake me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

No venga pie de soberbia contra mí; y mano de impíos no me mueva.

12 T here the workers of iniquity fall and lie prostrate; they are thrust down and shall not be able to rise.

Allí cayeron los obradores de iniquidad. Fueron derribados, y no pudieron levantarse.
