1 I was inquired of by those who asked not; I was found by those who sought Me not. I said, Here I am, here I am to a nation that has not called on My name.

Fui buscado de los que no preguntaban por mí; fui hallado de los que no me buscaban. Dije a gente que no invocaba mi nombre: Heme aquí, heme aquí.

2 I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts—

Extendí mis manos todo el día a pueblo rebelde, el cual anda por camino no bueno, en pos de sus pensamientos;

3 A people who provoke Me to My face continually, sacrificing in gardens and burning incense upon bricks;

pueblo, que en mi cara me provoca de continuo a ira, sacrificando en huertos, y haciendo perfume sobre ladrillos.

4 W ho sit among the graves and lodge among the secret places; who eat swine’s flesh, and the broth of abominable and loathsome things is in their vessels;

Que se quedan a dormir en los sepulcros, y en los desiertos tienen la noche; que comen carne de puerco, y en sus ollas hay caldo de cosas inmundas;

5 W ho say, Keep to yourself; do not come near me, for I am set apart from you! These are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all the day.

que dicen: Estate en tu lugar, no te llegues a mí, que soy más santo que tú. Estos son humo en mi furor, fuego que arde todo el día.

6 B ehold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silence but will repay; yes, I will repay into their bosom

He aquí, que escrito está delante de mí; no callaré, antes daré, y pagaré en su seno.

7 B oth your own iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers, says the Lord. Because they too burned incense upon the mountains and reviled and blasphemed Me upon the hills, therefore will I measure and stretch out their former doings into their own bosom.

Por vuestras iniquidades, y las iniquidades de vuestros padres juntamente, dice el SEÑOR: que hicieron perfume sobre los montes, y sobre los collados me afrentaron; por tanto, yo les mediré su obra antigua en su seno.

8 T hus says the Lord: As the juice is found in the cluster, and one says, Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it, so will I do for My servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.

Así dijo el SEÑOR: Como si alguno hallara mosto en un racimo, y dijera: No lo eches a mal, que bendición hay en él; así haré yo por mis siervos, que no lo echaré a perder todo.

9 A nd I will bring forth an offspring from Jacob, and from Judah an inheritor of My mountains; My chosen and elect will inherit it, and My servants will dwell there.

Mas sacaré simiente de Jacob, y de Judá heredero de mis montes; y mis escogidos poseerán por heredad la tierra, y mis siervos habitarán allí.

10 A nd Sharon shall be a pasture and fold for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, for My people who seek Me, inquire of Me, and require Me.

Y será Sarón para habitación de ovejas, y el valle de Acor para majada de vacas a mi pueblo, que me buscó.

11 B ut you who forsake the Lord, who forget and ignore My holy Mount, who prepare a table for Gad and who furnish mixed drinks for Meni —

Mas vosotros que dejáis al SEÑOR, que olvidáis el monte de mi santidad, que ponéis mesa a la fortuna, y suministráis libaciones para el destino;

12 I will destine you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter, because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen or obey. But you did what was evil in My eyes, and you chose that in which I did not delight.

yo también os destinaré a la espada, y todos vosotros os arrodillaréis al degolladero, por cuanto llamé, y no respondisteis; hablé, y no oísteis; sino que hicisteis lo malo delante de mis ojos, y escogisteis lo que a mí me desagrada.

13 T herefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame.

Por tanto, así dijo el Señor DIOS: He aquí que mis siervos comerán, y vosotros tendréis hambre. He aquí que mis siervos beberán, y vosotros tendréis sed; he aquí, que mis siervos se alegrarán, y vosotros seréis avergonzados;

14 B ehold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry out for pain and sorrow of heart and shall wail and howl for anguish, vexation, and breaking of spirit.

he aquí, que mis siervos jubilarán por la alegría del corazón, y vosotros clamaréis por el dolor del corazón, y por el quebrantamiento de espíritu aullaréis.

15 A nd you will leave your name to My chosen for a curse; and the Lord God will slay you, but He will call His servants by another name.

Y dejaréis vuestro nombre por maldición a mis escogidos, y el Señor DIOS te matará, y a sus siervos llamará por otro nombre.

16 S o that he who invokes a blessing on himself in the land shall do so by saying, May the God of truth and fidelity bless me; and he who takes an oath in the land shall swear by the God of truth and faithfulness to His promises, because the former troubles are forgotten and because they are hidden from My eyes.

El que se echare bendición en la tierra, en el Dios de verdad se bendecirá; y el que jurare en la tierra, por el Dios de verdad jurará; porque las angustias primeras serán olvidadas, y serán cubiertas de mis ojos.

17 F or behold, I create new heavens and a new earth. And the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.

Porque he aquí, que yo creo nuevos cielos y nueva tierra. De lo primero no habrá memoria, ni más vendrá al pensamiento.

18 B ut be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a rejoicing and her people a joy.

Mas os gozaréis y os alegraréis por siglo de siglo en las cosas que yo crearé: porque he aquí, que yo creo a Jerusalén alegría, y a su pueblo gozo.

19 A nd I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; and the sound of weeping will no more be heard in it, nor the cry of distress.

Y me alegraré con Jerusalén, y me gozaré con mi pueblo; y nunca más se oirán en ella voz de lloro, ni voz de clamor.

20 T here shall no more be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who dies prematurely; for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner who dies when only a hundred years old shall be accursed.

No habrá más allí niño de días, ni viejo que sus días no cumpla; porque el niño morirá de cien años; y al que de cien años pecare, será maldito.

21 T hey shall build houses and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them.

Y edificarán casas, y morarán; plantarán viñas, y comerán el fruto de ellas.

22 T hey shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat. For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My chosen and elect shall long make use of and enjoy the work of their hands.

No edificarán, y otro morará; no plantarán, y otro comerá, porque según los días de los árboles serán los días de mi pueblo, y mis escogidos perpetuarán las obras de sus manos.

23 T hey shall not labor in vain or bring forth for sudden terror or calamity; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.

No trabajarán en vano, ni darán a luz con miedo, porque sus partos son simiente de los benditos del SEÑOR, y sus descendientes estarán con ellos.

24 A nd it shall be that before they call I will answer; and while they are yet speaking I will hear.

Y será que antes que clamen, yo oiré; aún estando ellos hablando, yo oiré.

25 T he wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy Mount, says the Lord.

El lobo y el cordero serán apacentados juntos, y el león comerá paja como el buey; y a la serpiente el polvo será su comida; no afligirán, ni harán mal en todo mi santo monte, dijo el SEÑOR.
