1 B lessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.

Bienaventurado el perdonado de rebelión, el encubierto de pecado.

2 B lessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Bienaventurado el hombre a quien no contará el SEÑOR la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay engaño.

3 W hen I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long.

Mientras callé, se envejecieron mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día.

4 F or day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my moisture was turned into the drought of summer. Selah!

Porque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; se volvió mi verdor en sequedades de verano. (Selah.)

5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord —then You forgave me the guilt and iniquity of my sin. Selah!

Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones al SEÑOR; y tú perdonarás la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah.)

6 F or this let everyone who is godly pray—pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach him.

Por esto orará a ti todo misericordioso en el tiempo de poder hallarte; ciertamente en la inundación de las muchas aguas no llegarán éstas a él.

7 Y ou are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. Selah!

¶ Tú eres mi escondedero; de la angustia me guardarás; con clamores de libertad me rodearás. (Selah.)

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que andarás; sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.

9 B e not like the horse or the mule, which lack understanding, which must have their mouths held firm with bit and bridle, or else they will not come with you.

No seáis como el caballo, o como el mulo, sin entendimiento; con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser sujetada, porque si no, no llegan a ti.

10 M any are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness.

Muchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en el SEÑOR, lo cercará la misericordia.

11 B e glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Alegraos en el SEÑOR, y gozaos, justos; y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.
