1 A nd the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,

¶ Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

2 T ake a census of the Kohathite division among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,

Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Coat de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,

3 F rom thirty years old and up to fifty years old, all who can enter the service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

de edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran en el ejército, para hacer obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio.

4 T his shall be the responsibility of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting: the most holy things.

Este será el oficio de los hijos de Coat en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el lugar santísimo:

5 W hen the camp prepares to set forward, Aaron and his sons shall take down the veil and cover the ark of the Testimony with it,

Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campamento, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio;

6 A nd shall put on it the covering of dolphin or porpoise skin, and shall spread over that a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in place the poles of the ark.

y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y le pondrán sus varas.

7 A nd upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue and put on it the plates, the dishes for incense, the bowls, the flagons for the drink offering, and also the continual showbread.

Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán el paño cárdeno, y pondrán sobre ella las escudillas, y los cucharros, y los tazones y las cubiertas; y el pan continuo estará sobre ella.

8 A nd they shall spread over them a cloth of scarlet, and put over that a covering of dolphin or porpoise skin, and put in place the poles.

Y extenderán sobre ella el paño de carmesí colorado, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones; y le pondrán sus varas.

9 A nd they shall take a cloth of blue and cover the lampstand for the light and its lamps, its snuffers, its ashtrays, and all the oil vessels from which it is supplied.

Y tomarán el paño cárdeno, y cubrirán el candelero de la luminaria; y sus lámparas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos, y todos sus vasos del aceite con que se sirve;

10 A nd they shall put the lampstand and all its utensils within a covering of dolphin or porpoise skin and shall put it upon the frame.

y lo pondrán con todos sus vasos en la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y lo pondrán sobre una vara.

11 A nd upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of dolphin or porpoise skin, and shall put in place its poles.

Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán el paño cárdeno, y le cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán sus varas.

12 A nd they shall take all the utensils of the service with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of dolphin or porpoise skin, and shall put them on the frame.

Y tomarán todos los vasos del ministerio, con los cuales ministren en el santuario, y los pondrán en el paño cárdeno, y los cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y los pondrán sobre una vara.

13 A nd they shall take away the ashes from the altar and spread a purple cloth over it.

Y quitarán la ceniza con la grosura quemada del altar, y extenderán sobre él el paño de púrpura;

14 A nd they shall put upon it all its vessels and utensils with which they minister there, the firepans, the fleshhooks or forks, the shovels, the basins, and all the vessels and utensils of the altar, and they shall spread over it all a covering of dolphin or porpoise skin, and shall put in its poles.

y pondrán sobre él todos los vasos con los cuales se ministren: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros, y los tazones, todos los vasos del altar; y extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán sobre las varas.

15 W hen Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all its furniture, as the camp sets out, after all that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them. But they shall not touch the holy things, lest they die. These are the things of the Tent of Meeting which the sons of Kohath are to carry.

Y tan pronto acaben Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campamento se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coat para llevarlos; mas no tocarán cosa santa, porque morirán. Estas serán las cargas de los hijos de Coat en el tabernáculo del testimonio.

16 A nd Eleazar son of Aaron the priest shall have charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the continual cereal offering, and the anointing oil, with the oversight of all the tabernacle and of all that is in it, of the sanctuary and its utensils.

Pero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, estará el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción; el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario, y en sus vasos.

17 A nd the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,

Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

18 t he tribe of the families of the Kohathites, do not cut them off from among the Levites.

No cortaréis la tribu de las familias de Coat de entre los levitas;

19 B ut deal thus with them, that they may live and not die when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint them each to his work and to his burden.

mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y los pondrán a cada uno en su ministerio, y en su cargo.

20 B ut shall not go in to see the sanctuary or its holy things, even for an instant, lest they die.

No entrarán para ver, cuando cubrieren las cosas santas; porque morirán.

21 A nd the Lord said to Moses,

¶ Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés diciendo:

22 T ake a census of the sons of Gershon, by their fathers’ houses, by their families.

Toma también la cuenta de los hijos de Gersón por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias.

23 F rom thirty years old and up to fifty years old you shall number them, all who enter for service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.

De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía para hacer obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio.

24 T his is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:

Este será el oficio de las familias de Gersón, para ministrar y para llevar cargas:

25 A nd they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of dolphin or porpoise skin that is on top of it, and the hanging or screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, su cubierta, y la cubierta de pieles de tejones que está sobre él encima, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio,

26 A nd the hangings of the court, and the hanging or screen for the entrance of the gate of the court which is around the tabernacle and the altar, and their cords, and all the equipment for their service; whatever needs to be done with them, that they shall do.

27 U nder the direction of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all they have to carry and in all they have to do; and you shall assign to their charge all that they are to carry.

Conforme al dicho de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todas sus cargas, y en todo su servicio; y les encomendaréis en guarda todas sus cargas.

28 T his is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting; and their work shall be under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest.

Este es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo del testimonio; y la guarda de ellos será por mano de Itamar, hijo de Aarón sacerdote.

29 A s for the sons of Merari, you shall number them by their families and their fathers’ houses;

Contarás los hijos de Merari por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres.

30 F rom thirty years old up to fifty years old you shall number them, everyone who enters the service to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.

Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de cincuenta años, los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer obra en el tabernáculo del testimonio.

31 A nd this is what they are assigned to carry and to guard, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the boards or frames of the tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets or bases,

Y ésta será la guarda de su cargo para todo su servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio: las tablas del tabernáculo, y sus barras, y sus columnas, y sus basas,

32 A nd the pillars of the court round about with their sockets or bases, and pegs, and cords, with all their equipment and all their accessories for service; and you shall assign to them by name the articles which they are to carry.

y las columnas del atrio alrededor, y sus basas, y sus estacas, y sus cuerdas con todos sus instrumentos, y todo su servicio; y contaréis por sus nombres todos los vasos de la guarda de su cargo.

33 T his is the work of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their tasks in the Tent of Meeting, under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest.

Este será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio, por mano de Itamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.

34 A nd Moses and Aaron and the leaders of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families and their fathers’ houses,

¶ Moisés, pues, y Aarón, y los príncipes de la congregación, contaron los hijos de Coat por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,

35 F rom thirty years old up to fifty years old, everyone who enters the service to do the work of the Tent of Meeting;

desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años; todos los que entran en compañía, para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio.

36 A nd those who were numbered of them by their families were 2, 750.

Y fueron los contados de ellos por sus familias, dos mil setecientos cincuenta.

37 T hese were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all who did service in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the command of the Lord through Moses.

Estos fueron los contados de las familias de Coat, todos los que ministran en el tabernáculo del testimonio, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, como lo mandó el SEÑOR por mano de Moisés.

38 A nd those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,

Y los contados de los hijos de Gersón, por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,

39 F rom thirty years old up to fifty years old, everyone who entered the service to do the work of the Tent of Meeting,

desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio;

40 T hose who were enrolled of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were 2, 630.

los contados de ellos por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres, fueron dos mil seiscientos treinta.

41 T hese were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered as the Lord commanded.

Estos son los contados de las familias de los hijos de Gersón, todos los que ministran en el tabernáculo del testimonio, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón por mandato del SEÑOR.

42 A nd those numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,

Y los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,

43 F rom thirty years old up to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,

desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio;

44 E ven those who were numbered of them by their families, were 3, 200.

los contados de ellos, por sus familias, fueron tres mil doscientos.

45 T hese are those who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the command of the Lord by Moses.

Estos fueron los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, según lo mandó el SEÑOR por mano de Moisés.

46 A ll those who were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the leaders of Israel counted by their families and by their fathers’ houses,

Todos los contados de los levitas, que Moisés y Aarón y los príncipes de Israel contaron por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,

47 F rom thirty years old up to fifty years old, everyone who could enter to do the work of service and of burden bearing in the Tent of Meeting,

desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años, todos los que entraban para servir en el ministerio, y llevar una carga en el tabernáculo del testimonio;

48 T hose that were numbered of them were 8, 580.

los contados de ellos fueron ocho mil quinientos ochenta.

49 A ccording to the command of the Lord through Moses, they were assigned each to his work of serving and carrying. Thus they were numbered by him, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Como lo mandó el SEÑOR por mano de Moisés fueron contados, cada uno según su ministerio, y según su cargo; los cuales contó Moisés, como le fue mandado.
