Y también los vasos de oro y de plata de la Casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor sacó del templo que estaba en Jerusalén y los pasó a Babilonia, sean devueltos y vayan al templo que está en Jerusalén, a su lugar, y sean puestos en la Casa de Dios.

6 N ow therefore, Tattenai, governor of the province the River, Shethar-bozenai, and your associates, the Apharsachites who are the River, keep far away from there.

Ahora pues, Tatnai, capitán del otro lado del río, Setar-boznai, y sus compañeros los afarsaqueos que estáis al otro lado del río, apartaos de ahí.

7 L eave the work on this house of God alone; let the governor and the elders of the Jews build this house of God on its site.

Dejad la obra de esa Casa de Dios al capitán de los judíos, y a sus ancianos, para que edifiquen esa Casa de Dios en su lugar.

8 M oreover, I make a decree as to what you shall do for these elders of the Jews for the rebuilding of this house of God: the cost is to be paid in full to these men at once from the king’s revenue, the tribute of the province the River, that they may not be hindered.

Y por mí es dado mandamiento de lo que habéis de hacer con los ancianos de estos judíos, para edificar esa Casa de Dios: que de la hacienda del rey, que tiene del tributo del otro lado del río, los gastos sean dados luego a aquellos varones, para que no cesen.

9 A nd all they need, including young bulls, rams, and lambs for the burnt offerings to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the word of the priests at Jerusalem, let it be given them each day without fail,

Y lo que fuere necesario, becerros y carneros y corderos, para holocaustos al Dios del cielo, trigo, sal, vino y aceite, conforme a lo que dijeren los sacerdotes que están en Jerusalén, déseles cada día sin obstáculo alguno;

10 T hat they may offer pleasing sacrifices to the God of heaven and pray for the life of the king and his sons.

para que ofrezcan olores de holganza al Dios del cielo, y oren por la vida del rey y por sus hijos.

11 A lso I make a decree that whoever shall change or infringe on this order, let a beam be pulled from his house and erected; then let him be fastened to it, and let his house be made a dunghill for this.

También es dado por mí mandamiento, que cualquiera que mudare este decreto, sea derribado un madero de su casa, y enhiesto, sea colgado en él; y su casa sea hecha muladar por esto.

12 M ay the God Who has caused His Name to dwell there overthrow all kings and peoples who put forth their hands to alter this or to destroy this house of God in Jerusalem. I Darius make a decree; let it be executed speedily and exactly.

Y el Dios que hizo habitar allí su nombre, destruya todo rey y pueblo que pusiere su mano para mudar o destruir esta Casa de Dios, la cual está en Jerusalén. Yo Darío puse el decreto; sea hecho prestamente.

13 T hen Tattenai, governor of the province this side of the River, with Shethar-bozenai and their associates, diligently did what King Darius had decreed.

Entonces Tatnai, capitán del otro lado del río, y Setar-boznai, y sus compañeros, hicieron prestamente según el rey Darío había enviado.

14 A nd the elders of the Jews built and prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah son of Iddo. They finished their building as commanded by the God of Israel and by decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

Y los ancianos de los judíos edificaban y prosperaban, conforme a la profecía de Hageo profeta, y de Zacarías hijo de Iddo. Edificaron, pues, y acabaron, por el mandamiento del Dios de Israel, y por el mandamiento de Ciro, de Darío, y de Artajerjes rey de Persia.

15 A nd this house was finished on the third day of the month of Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.

Y esta Casa fue acabada al tercer día del mes de Adar, que era el sexto año del reinado del rey Darío.

16 A nd the Israelites—the priests, the Levites, and the rest of the returned exiles—celebrated the dedication of this house of God with joy.

Y los hijos de Israel, los sacerdotes y los levitas, y los demás de los hijos de la cautividad, hicieron la dedicación de esta Casa de Dios con gozo.

17 T hey offered at the dedication of this house of God 100 young bulls, 200 rams, 400 lambs, and, for a sin offering for all Israel, 12 he-goats, according to the number of Israel’s tribes.

Y ofrecieron en la dedicación de esta Casa de Dios cien becerros, doscientos carneros, cuatrocientos corderos; y doce machos cabríos como el pecado de todo Israel, doce, conforme al número de las tribus de Israel.

18 A nd they set the priests in their divisions and the Levites in their courses for the service of God at Jerusalem, as it is written in the Book of Moses.

¶ Y pusieron a los sacerdotes en sus repartimientos, y a los levitas en sus divisiones, sobre la obra de Dios que está en Jerusalén, conforme a lo escrito en el libro de Moisés.

19 T he returned exiles kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

Y los hijos de la cautividad hicieron la pascua a los catorce del mes primero.

20 F or the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together; all of them were clean. So they killed the Passover lamb for all the returned exiles, for their brother priests, and for themselves.

Porque los sacerdotes y los levitas se habían purificado como un varón; todos fueron limpios; y sacrificaron la pascua por todos los de la transmigración, y por sus hermanos los sacerdotes, y por sí mismos.

21 I t was eaten by the Israelites who had returned from exile and by all who had joined them and separated themselves from the pollutions of the peoples of the land to seek the Lord, the God of Israel.

Y comieron los hijos de Israel que habían vuelto de la transmigración, y todos los que se habían apartado de la inmundicia de los gentiles de la tierra a ellos, para buscar al SEÑOR Dios de Israel.

22 T hey kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with joy, for the Lord had made them joyful and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, so that he strengthened their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

E hicieron la fiesta de los panes ázimos siete días con alegría, por cuanto el SEÑOR los había alegrado, y había convertido el corazón del rey de Asiria a ellos, para esforzar sus manos en la obra de la Casa de Dios, del Dios de Israel.
